Olu, I don't like the JPY pairs very much, although they are sometimes trending nicely. On my back test, the USDJPY didnt do very well. Actually it did very well with hard target profit... but the risk reward ratio was negative... So what setting do you use on these pairs? Thanks!

Hey I am testing a very similar system with 5,3,3 setting though. And the rules are almost the same except that for stops I use the bar high or low where the trade gets trigerred. And my profit target is the same amount.

I buy or sell 2 pips above/below the "signal" candle. I will post a example. The red line in the example is stop loss and the green line is entry. The profit target is the same amount.

eurchf (going up hard but still under EMA)
gbpjpy (above 60 level but still under EMA)
euraud (still under EMA)
chfjpy (going down hard,but still above EMA)

we will wait and see what happens

AUD/CHF is one worth adding to that list for a good looking short - next candle perhaps

THis is on my radar as well. Will revisit this pair again tomorrow night. Check out cadchf too...

At this rate there will be too many pairs to trade...

Price under the 100sma
reversal candlestick pattern
stoch is turning (note it hasnt turned yet)
Real trend in the pair is down so it might be that we are reverting back to the true trend

This is a good variation to the current system. Diferent entry/exits and money management but really workable. This will help shorter term traders i.e fixed exit. It will also help everyone in tthis forex climate where a 100pip profit in the morning could dissapear by the afternoon. You've taken profit and you are out before the volatility reversal begins. It is my opinion though that longer term trading wins hands down over shorter term trading over the long term. But that is a discussion for another time...

Why do you need an EA? It is such a simple strategy that requires only about 10minutes a night to check, setup and maintain. I dont think it is available but one could be knocked up in no time

My candles have closed for the day.
the chf crosses are about to signal a sell. I said about because we have stoch crosses down on the eurchf etc but the crosses are above 80 and the system whose name we cant mention says that in this instance entry is when the stoch moves below 80.

Do other traders have a confirmed signal i.e because of different candle close times?

I'm on GMT+3 (FXOPEN) and have good crosses on GBPCHF and USDCHF. I took the GBPCHF Trade.... My EURCHF is below 80 but I'm passing on the trade.. Portugal brought the Euro down but the rate decision on Thursday might bring it back up....

The cross took place above 80 but the stock line itself is below 80
