If you find some in someone's attic you know they're still valid currency to exchange for Euros at any local Sparkasse
For a reason I guess, they really had some proper value at that time.

They will never loose its value ...

It is guaranteed ... they are valid "AD INFINITUM" ...

But that is not the same ... I want to have them back as a normal daily circulating phenomenon ...

In EASTERN BERLIN for example ... there are certain "schrullige" Geschäfte ... which still accept them ...

More than 20 Billion DEM notes never been re-fracturated in Euros ... according to the statistics of the Bundes-Bank ...

Das sagt ja irgendwo auch etwas aus ... many still circulating in BALKAN as well ...

Think about that ...

Yes 5 was maximum with one mill ...

5 - 10 mill position and it has been nearly as low as nowadays ...

10 mill and more it has been less than one as well ...

Pretty sure most of them are either dug down hidden and forgotten, or long time ago lost burned or destroyed in other ways.
These don't circulate anymore but there's a huge treasure of them sprinkled around whole world's attics and basements...
