np. point well taken. as far as the definition of trend... what is amazing is that many people look at monthly or sometimes yearly trend when they are trading 5 min 15 min chart.

To add to there trades and to to take of profit as they go along each day not sure why 1 and 5 min thou, maybe for tighter monitoring.

I am what is probabaly considered a virgin in this field. Would anyone seeing this tell me whether they agree or otherwise that the 17.5bn support by Eurozone to Greece - should technically place more confidence in the euro and push it up at the beginning of trading tomorrow??

the price pattern in the 1 min time frame (2nd chart) you have shown in post #478668 are clearly corrective of nature:

If the “flat” assumption is correct, we can expect further sideway movements on monday.

The fact that the EUR couldnt go lower than 4435 on last Friday, is setting the stage for a very powerfull thrust upwards to the 4600 (for sure) and most probably the 4900 region:

Thanks , checked your chart , yes it is nice one .
correction b wave before c down as far possible to start new up . Monday likely flat & decision next few days perhaps . so may not that strong to go direct to daily resistance 4696. what expected in my previous weekend analysis with range 4436-4564 worked ,not happy this week also with . lets see , good luck to you .happy weekend.

EURUSD

I expect Monday to be a flat day for the EURUSD, looking back at past charts you can see a US holiday gives a small range day. So don't expect to run a home run on Monday.

Tuesday should be an upday as well as Wednesday. Here is where it gets interesting because the European Central Bank announce interest rates, on the 7th July. It also ties up with some perfect cycles.

Fridays price movement was interesting to say the least, price dropped below the 50 period MA on the hourly chart and was bought up again. Usually these moves preceed a collapse in price after the market has rallied, above the previous tops.

My expectation is a rally into the news followed by a sell off lasting well into August, when you can expect a rally, and another sell off for the rest of the year.

If 1.5 gets penetrated it will be FAST.. I see 1.55 and 1.57 keeps popping up... 1.4940 is key here for that to happen..

Interesting candle pattern in 3-Days Chart ... those old bull hammer in Daily as wello ... nice ones in H4 (as Kambooj mentioned already - this is not the environment in which you are well adviced to be massively short with) and rejection in 60 minutes (am Freitag war auch nicht von schlechten Eltern) ...
