Well Stock was showing a positive sign while i took that trade.

I just wanted to make sure i took the trade right, obviously this is not a 100% win. 2-3 trades out of 10 can go against. i just wanted to make sure i took the trade right as per TMS .

If candle 1 is a strong candle with a good cross and angle I'll trade it.

i like that reply. I dont know why he cant show his or trade for a month and show us either good or bad. I saw another 5 rated system now asking for their results again. Dont know what he want.

I think this video from 50 Pips says it all really. You can have the best system going (and this one is up there with the best), but you need to have some idea of what the key areas are on any chart, draw your key S&R zones and look for TMS setups in these areas.

I can demonstrate in the region of 600 pips net profit over the past month which includes all of my duh trades as well as the profitable ones.

This approach using the longer timeframes takes emotions and a lot of stress out of trading.

My trading accuracy is over 60%

We are all going off track because of this confused newbie called whatfx he or she has been made to eat his/her words so we need to get back on track and stop wasting time on him/her. Lest talk more on getting more green pips out of this systerm please. Just my one cent.

For the purists, so there's no chart clutter, I suggest using this s/r indicator on the lower time frames. Example if your trading the 4hr, have this indicator show only on the 1hr and down charts. So when you see a setup, check the lower time frame for areas for setting a potential sl and possible tp.

No problem - it is nice to be able to have some actuals to show for either the newbies or the disbelievers though!

For my 2 cents, Trading Made Simple is a great approach and the recent discussions on TDI cross and candle formations are key as well as using the original templates from Big E.

I have always used the OSMA and the Bill Williams Fractals and Awesome Oscillator and they don't add a bunch of clutter.

Currently testing out the differences between day charts and 4H charts for my trading timeframes which are close to Big E's timelines of 9pm to 11pm pst and 6am to 7am.

Yes mate I wait for a strong candle to close over ma, and a TDI cross above 50 if going short. Also check what price is doing regarding sr etc.
So many thing to consider before trading man.

Yeah but I think what they are gettiing at....and I also have this problem.....is....how do you know its a strong candle on opening??? as in....it can take a while for that candle to form so how much time has passed before you determine that it is a straong candle?? and by the time you determine it is strong...isnt that now not entering on the opening of the candle??
Know what I mean??

Dean - The only way I have done this is to drop down two time frams and see what it is happening, so if you are watching H4, drop down to M30 and maybe even M15 for your entry point if you have a strong push - do this in the 1st hour of the "new" candle.

That is the same issue I have with entering the trade on the open of a new candle that may the beginning of a reversal. Especially on a 4hr or daily time frame. That is why I have brought up the point of waiting until the opening of the 2nd or even, just for myself, the opening of the 3rd. Again, for me the opening of the 2nd will better confirm the continuation after a pullback or the possible change in trend. Just my thoughts.

I also agree that you can go to a smaller time frame to try and get the entry. But for me, that seems to be too much time sitting at the charts and then being ready to get out if it doesn't pan out on the larger time frame.

Just my thoughts. Mostly to help myself understand what I am thinking.

Even it is just a retrace for 3 candles,if you enter the trade with the first candle or second, you should make some pips or a small loss...Therefore BigE suggests an entry with the 1st or 2nd candle.
