I'm at my office now, looking at my office account which is up a total of around 850 pips from yesterday. I entered these trades between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. on the new daily candle. (My new day starts at 2:00 pm PST)

I have been comparing these daily entries to entries from the H4 charts, which is my home account, and am finding that the daily entries are outperforming the H4 entries significantly.

I am also no longer using the 30 pip stops and I believe that has stopped the whipping around problem, although the loss can be greated than 30...
Ignored

The significant outperformance of daily entries compared to H4 entries could be caused by the time aspect, because you have a longer exposure in the market.
By opening a trade right at the start of the day, you are catching all the price action.
With H4 entries, while waiting for the setup and the price action, you could be missing parts of the move.
Not sure if this is what you mean, so I might be talking nonsense here

Just checking if I understand correctly what you mean by daily entry, so please correct me if I'm wrong
By daily entry you mean that you enter a trade right at the start of the new trading day ?
Or at least during the first opening hours of the Asian session, is that right ?
And this trade is meant to be still open until the next day at the same time, right ?
At that point, the same process is repeated, and the position is growing larger, right ?

You got it, Nijn. That is exactly what I mean-- entering at the start..within a few hours..of the new trading day. Entries based on 3 Taps, BOs, PA, RSIs, R/S areas, etc on the daily chart.

Well... then, we here in Europe should start the trading day maybe at about 11 pm (Amsterdam time 23:00 hrs) to get the best Moneytree results... Then go to bed at about 02:00 after placing our trades, sleep well and wake up a little richer every morning... I think I could like that

Btw, my broker starts the daily charts 1 hour later as London time. So my 4 hr and dayly candles are different from other traders, who have the London time candles. But I think that does not matter so much as the PA rules it all!
There`s no life before COFFEE!

Good luck Nijn. I'm in too.

Thanks LG! Take care of yourself, and don't spend too much time in front of the screen, or you'll get all scrunched up and creaky well before your time.

Hope to see you around sometime.

All the very best to you and your family for the future,

Greg

Same here.
My broker starts the daily charts at 02:00 hrs local time (01:00 hrs London time, 09:00 hrs Tokyo time).
So my daily charts are messed up and showing different open/high/low/close.
On top of that, my trading week has 6 days.
The first day being the first 3 trading hours on Sunday.

EURGBP showing a nice BO on the hourly chart, and a 3 tap on the H4 chart.
But I'm not taking this trade, price is approaching yesterday's high and I'm expecting some sort of resistance/reaction.

We have reached the 2 million views mark on this thread and are the 3rd most visited thread on the Trading Systems Forum. I am very proud of that and have all of you to thank.

Reaching the 2 million mark was a personal goal I had set and was hoping to meet by the 1 year "anniversay". The goal was met about 3 months early...again thanks to the interests of all of you in the thread.

[font=Arial Black][size=4]I will be reevaluating my level of involvement going forward,...

Hey LG,

As someone who has been there almost from the start, I am not surprised that we have reached the 2 million mark. As I have told you when we reached the one million views mark, you've done a wonderful thing here in this thread, a total altruistic did, that made many of us change completely the way we are trading fx, and regain faith in trading fx. It made many of us give up complex indicators and voodoo magic systems, and go back to the basics, the simple, nice, clean, almost naked trading.
Although I wasn't too active in the thread the last couple of months, I saw you still – after so many times you did so before – explaining even to newbies what your system is all about with great patience. Amazing.
Your system is a true winner. One like me, who has seen a thing or two in fx, can say that one needs not to look any further after he/she reached this thread. The 2 million views reach after less then a year is also a good proof of that.
You did a really amazing thing here, sharing your knowledge and experience with all of us, and I thank you on behalf of everyone!
I totally understand how being here took much of your trading time, which I think shows in even brighter light what a great person you are and how thankful we all should be.
I call upon all your students and friends who took and still take part in this thread to keep this thread going and spread your knowledge onward to new pupils who walk through the gates of trading fx, who without true guiding will soon be lost in a bottomless pit.

Thanks again and lots of luck in your personal trading – you deserve it!:-)

H4 3 Tap setup in NZDUSD, but no price action yet.
The weekly RSI is the only one pointing up.

Second last setting from the bottom, set to "true"

You must have the RSI on the chart and the setting as "RSI(3)"

Play with it, you can't break it

Change the settings/parameters "ShowCurrentPairOnly" into "true"

Also on H4 USDCAD does this qualify as 3 Tap?

Re-Insert the indicator - it happens in my platform that every day I restart I get a "pop-up" telling me the RSI(3) window name is wrong - all I do is add the indicator again and re-adjust!
