I think my broker just wanted me to go short - just had a spread of 0,20 - must be a new record.

However, the only way to catch this fast move would be Sonic Scout Short.

And TAH would have capture this nice move down with a Scout Short around 1.4550 at a good number, that would be more of a valid quick down move.

For me, it was a shake out.
I enter a new Long just about 4 bars (M5) before this big down move. Mistake cost me -40pips.
And I got shaken out as I decided to exit my 29-Jun EU Long for profit...

Hmmm, any Long EUR/USD does not seem to have any power as it float downwards to 1.4480.

The H1 show EU to be in range of either (1.4460 - 1.4550) or (1.4440 - 1.4550).
Will wait tonight to see how price react to the low and high of these ranges before entering.
Perhaps wait till next week before entering new position.
If EU price stall here, and does not go much lower than the range, this is still a normal behaviour of EU to go higher next week.
Wait and see.

As Short on EU seem to be in control for the moment, now better listen to TAH and Nando.

This was a SonicR re-entry trade, when PA retraced back down to a S&R level.

This is now a SonicR short setup, with PA at EP zone. It is a very tight Wave, but the Wave is valid.

- London session
- PA Wave, and at important S&R (whole number area)
- Dragon angled down
- PA below Dragon
- PA also below Trend

I am in this via Sonic Scout yesterday.

Note that this setup exists currently on EU also!

From what I saw of EU on M5, the wave was flat at the time price went down, the move down was on a too big candle so not that safe to enter short there.
Better to wait for retracement up later on, to enter Short later on which look more like a nomal SonicR Short.

Now it's a danger entry...the PA is in a S&R + UTL...

It's better wait to see what the US bb's bring. The PA could do nothing until then (sorry for the english i'm in the swimming pool and i haven't got time to correct it)

Long or short candles are not the criteria to evaluate waves. Waves are not to be judged by candle length, width or color. Waves are waves and they should be all treated as equal. You should see waves, not candles; just like in the pic of E/U chart below:

My mistake, I don't mean the Price Wave, I meant the Sonic Dragon looks flat/up at that point of time.
So to me, it would not be a normal SonicR entry at that time(Long candle down) but after.

You are correct about the Price Wave.
From doing pure SonicR, I am not good at reading the Waves at putting L-H-HL-HH etc especially on the lower time frame, as was helped by TAH when I first started with SonicR thread.
I prefer to do Price Wave / Price Swing on higher time frame like D1 and H1 to get a better read.

My trading method now is combination of other things, and check with SonicR to have a look at it.
Most entries initiated do most times correspond to SonicR entries.

With all due respect for Domas4, Nando, etc, .....

As PA stands now, it is the first strong Sonic R. short setup today. Why? The "earlier" PA was in conjuction with a relatively flat Dragon. Oh, it might have just slightly started to angle down sometime earlier, but which was only a "ripple" down, not a developed angle down. If anyone entered then, their entry would still be as shown, due to the long candle that dropped out of the Dragon.

Therefore, earlier or now, the SonicR short setup indicates the EP zone to be right at S&R area 1.4481. And, as I stated before, and as it still appears to be the case, it is better to wait for PA to break below the previous lows at that S&R area.

The next stop below is more than likely to be in the area of the next lower whole number, 1.4400, and with such intervening pips to be made, there is no reason to go frantic and try to squeeze extra out of a nice setup by jumping in before PA clears previous support. IMHO.

1. test DTL and down
2. break UTL and down
3. break UTL and UP.
4. nothing of the above

we'll see.
