Plenty of people do. There are a few weekly chart traders floating around here as well.

Hmm. Didn't quite reject a full 50% of todays range either. 10 pips off?

I think we do need a retest of 4442 to "confirm" this upmove anyways.

Hi Cloggie et al,

Just a quick question,

I'm getting fairly good at picking levels now, ie where price reacts, but I'm still not able to turn a net profit. Seems I can never get in tune with the trend, every time I think I'm with the 4h the daily overrides it, and I end up losing it back. I suppose it's the million dollar question, but what else do I need to add to my trading apart from s/r?

Is it just a question of experience of PA, or do I need to study some other TA skills?

Prefer to keep it simple but it's not working for me at the moment.

I think he would say, 10 000 hours of watching the price.

If you look at the price movements (stalling price, rejected price) you will get better at noticing if you had the right level or not...

Daily trend EMA @ 4483, and a higher high then Asian close...

A few yips on the quickies before we get to anything that might be considered real action anyways...

That's no problem, 9500 more hours to go :-/, just trying to accelerate the learning curve I suppose!

+ know when to cut a loss and when to let a profit run. Scaling a trade that is going well is also a good technique on the b/o moves.

Feck this pre-Asia movements. Closed perfect called short waaay too early... oh, numbers...

Strategy...

Are you going to trade to support on a long cycle or watch for the reaction?
Are you going to trade to resistance on a short chart or wait for reaction?

It really depends on the TF and size of the trades that you call profits my friend...Wanna hit em fast? Gotta have a quick finger, and a brok er with tight spreads...wanna take it slow? Gotta have a lot of patience and allow a widers sweep on SLs...

Define yourself as a trader, fast and furious, or slow and steady...from there, you will be better equipt to come up with the best strategy/MM for YOU.

Only trade 3-4 times daily, still on demo.

Think I need to establish what style of trading suits me best as magix says, then maybe I can progress from there.
