Currently up 100 pips on the lower order... that is a rare treat out of the swissy for the PA as of late. She's been a slow ATR. lol making like 20 pips a day on the shorts as of recent.

BS... LOL. I bet the janitor is a millionaire. the numbers are known way before. one way to tell is watch what the price does BEFORE (like 12/24 hours) before the big news.

Starting to get it! Just did a small scalp, it bounced up from 59 back to 65, so I took the risk of a small scalp at 65, my managing order stopped me out at +16. So nice little dustbin trade.
Now it bounces back again around same 79 level, right? (well got to 85 first but don't know how to judge that number.)
At least I will take closer look to pa thanks too these last few posts of you and atilla! thx

Well, for me it was a daily long. We have been compressing downwards for the last two weeks. As soon as I got the signal last night I loaded the boat when Asia decided to provide some really nice prices with their endless buying of the euro / sell dollar bs. compression was pretty evident as I noted in my earlier posts. Some of my daily shorts were not even making 20 pips a day.

Now we are uncoiling it. As far as news, don't know if their was a catalyst or not... but, i'm pretty happy with the move. lol

85 is just an overshoot, a test, as we had no momentum and no close above 79 see it as a gift of a few pips to trail your stop. AS 79 keeps failing we will just bounce back and forth until one end is going to give. So you either trade the bounces as a scalper, you trade either end if you are pretty confident of where the trend is going or you trade the breakout. Levels like these can be used for any trading style.

Right... But you can always see larger volumes in ES 3 mins before PMI.

Of course we don't trade news and just watch graphs, so we don't need to pay

I haven't heard anything? A squeeze is a squeeze. Compression generally leads into a squeeze. At least, probabilities are on your side if playing that.

Regardless, now I watch 8430 to see what to do now.

Anyways, still the same 2 numbers, the same bounces, the same predictable pa 63/79. This ain't rocketscience really.

So now we are watching what this 63 is going to do. It is getting boring. Tennis is over too, am going to have some lunch.

Yeah we might end up with a "reasonable fundamental explanation" about why, but yours is as plausible as can be, just usually we don't see 150pip spikes because of a "squeeze". You know that yourself.
