I took a buy on the third candle,
The first and second candle is so small and i didnt consider it. The third was a medium size and took the trade.
Daily chart agrees trend
doesnt look good atm down 30pips.
is this is one of those unfortunate trade,
pls comment

What is wrong with the below setup on EUR/JPY H1 both went to 20 pip loss.

Trade update:

euraud = +133 open
gbpaud = +120 closed
nzdjpy = + 87 closed
nzdusd = + 220 open
usdcad = + 200 open

New trades:

euraud = + 132 open
usdjpy = + 45 open
gbpjpy = +35 open

Added to about +80pips from trades running from last week puts me about +1050 running total for this week.
I might close all trades this evening or in the morning as away for the weekend and will not have time on Friday.

This is a fantastic system if you are willing to work at it and i mean work as if it's your day job and you need to put food on the table. If you trade Forex without commitment i think you can only expect what you put in.
I am only showing my results to show it can be done and not to boost my ego. I have put in thousands of hours into FX and now with the help of BigE's system it looks like coming good.

Trade 1 the TDI is to high for me to trade, well above the 50.

Trade 2 against the 1h and 4h trend, never trade against the trend mate.IMO.

Well i cannot agree with you completely talking about the "rules" [you decided to go completely aginst the rules of this method]

Rule -Cross took place
Rule- Stoch confirmed
Rule- Enter when the cross happens on a decent size candle,
When the cross took place the first candle was small, second had a wick, third agreed and the trend was down,
rule- basics of forex, trend was same in h4, daily , checked for S/R

ps: the rule doesn't say not to enter at the third candle, it is either late or less chance.


So did i break all the rules ?

If you want to enter on the third candle go for it...according to the rules of THIS method...... third candle NO ENTRY....1st or 2nd candle only....its been said a million times.

Hi Sadler

I believe that Big E has mentioned a number of times throughout the thread (perhaps not in the 1st post) to enter on the first and second candle not the third.

Enter trades at the BEGINNING of candle #1 or #2.... not at the end of the candle.... you'll be more succesful....

Hey guys anyone took this trade?? Any thoughts or comments??

I took it as a bounce after a bit of consolidation.

Also I have the PSAR up just for visual confirmation and not as an indi that I as such use for trading. Trying to keep it 100 % to Big E's system.

So regardless of forex basics, tdi cross strong trend on higher TF,
Third Candle = No Entry
