50 pips is a more than reasonable tp for a spike, a continuation would be a different matter, not sure of your time zone, but i will be taking a close look at the new european daily pivots in about an hour and a half..

as a bull you want to see price holding up in the top half of the post ny range, but i'm sure you already know that...

Do not nail me on exact numbers, but the story for Germany goes roughly this way:

Debt: 2.08 trillion €

that are around 83% of GDP (EU allows 60%)

that are around 23500 per citizen

Debt rose 2010 at about 320 billion. That is +3.3%


Add in, that Germany had a fabulous year regarding conjuncture and tax-income. Nevertheless we (the Germans) managed to get 3.3% more in trouble.

Add to that, that situation globally and in EU gets worse. All are calculating with things getting better. Big mistake......

Add to that the liability Germany now has due to its "payment obligations" in conjuncture with the about to defaulting PIIGS.

World is doomed, EU is doomed, Germany is doomed........

I have seen the price on hold like this way too often now already ;-)

Problem now is the W. Double top. As 4450 is big R I'm less certain whether it could spike. Lots of stops there, that for sure.

Inverted H&S gives 4600, but will be plenty of re-enter possibilities. Backtest accomplished. Steep bullish TL holding. Looks good still :-)

4500 we meet the descending TL of (one of the many) triangle(s).

I think that Cloggs number are from IMF, but so far I see only estimated numbers from them ........
