This is called a subsequent trigger. 20 below 50, price meets resistance @ 50, and drops below 20, this is a trigger on trend.

Compare this to your M1 chart and other charts, you will see what I mean when I say, all time frames trade the same, the only thing that differs is the range of the play.

I like your strategy Gator, Have been trading seriously for a year or so now and have gradually adopted a similar strategy. That way I can put on a bigger position when PA reaches a big S/R and if it goes my way have a decent position running at BE..

But I have been pretty biased to the downside, and have not been scalping much really. I am thinking I need to take the long side of the trade more often, instead of just covering at big levels.

Curious if u have any other tips for this strategy?

Where you might be getting confused is the chart I posted with my trade was on the M1...I took the trigger on trend from the fast chart, and watch the M5 for confirmation and direction.

not really except im down on % of risk. most of the time 1/4% is my sl. but with such tight entry's using the small tf.. my back is to the wall.. so if its a bad trade at 4 pips. it will be a bad trade at 8 pips... .. i set up for trades all day.. few are met.. i get s.o a bunch at be... then it goes the way planned.. but when this happens if at b.e. i don't lose.
