I think US does not want gold to go through what oil went through in 2008. Meaures to curb oil speculation were too late, but they are now trying to send an early message for gold. July 15th.

Massive support, lt tl and ema200 at around 1420/30. guess we will see some buying here. if not before. Hoping for a bounce to retest current cluster.

Yes all these time differences are confusing sometimes My computer gives 02:00, my brokers server life platform gives 00:00 and the demo on MT4 gives 03:00 haha.. so confusing! (All GMT)

Well, that was a debacle. I pulled the manual trigger much earlier and got short at 92.

At that point, the good part of the story ends. The rest has a moral: do not try to do anything technical if you have to get on a plane at 6AM in your, or anyone else's, time zone, particularly if you're a mentally challenged old guy.

Just NOW got software started that (a) ran fine on Friday and every day before, and (b) does not rust.

Pure operator error.

Magix, your comments regarding trend following from yesterday, which I only skimmed, seem worthy of a deeper read.

I'm going to go fall asleep to some video.

bbMuchl. And, yikes, Asia be lovin' the greenback. When somebody posted some big gap in the kiwi, and the aussie looked punky, the EUR die was cast at least short term.

it happens when our whole concentration goes on charts, indicators, news, PA etc
so don't think its silly, its just normal

change in plans 1st i'll eat something before going to bed. was hungry so brought some roasted chicken from the kitchen.
