Hello, Sonic traders

Looking forward to learning this system. i'm in the process of going thru the 1400+ pages of info but I have a quick question.

What template in posted in post# 22283? I'm tryin to figure out while I am learning which templates I should be learning with.

I'd recommend to use last templates. first ones are overloaded with indys which atracts your attention from PA while only PA is a major thing to watch.

Kimis, my FXDD chart shows no such extreme spike down. Thru the day it seems the lows were sought out for buying, but that spike on your FXPro chart is ridiculous.

FXDD closes down at 4PM EST. It looks like FXPro remained open for another hour.

I have not checked other broker MT4 charts, but I am wondering if it was just due to FXPro spiking the price down to run stops on its own clients, at the very end of the day? If you check MT4 charts from any other broker that also stayed open until 5PM EST, and do not find that same spike down, you might consider getting another broker. A UChf long trade starting down at Fridays levels could turn out to be the trade of the year! So, I wonder if FXPro just screwed its own clients by running stops on its clients long positions that have stops?

BTW, your vLines are placed 3 hours too soon! Reduce the DST_Sever_GMT_Offset by three. Your vLines and mine should be at exactly the same place relative to PA! (Compare the placements between your chart and mine, now and after you fix it.)

Edit: Added 3rd chart from GFT, which also shows the spike. So it might not be FXPro that did it. Somebody did it; some broker, or maybe even a Central Bank trading desk. Whoever is responsible waited until the last minutes to manipulate the price down, using stops on longs as steps, no matter the cost to take out opposing positions, in order to force long liquidity into the market to get its own long order(s) filled. Likely the computed long liquidity created by running stops ended up filling a whopping long order at the bottom. This is extreme price manipulation, fostered out of greed and disregard, ....totally permitted in the forex market, but only able to be done by those with enough money to do it.

This is another example of proof that the forex market is not a balanced playing field between the privileged rich and the retailers. But as bad as the forex market is, it is a lot better than the US stock market, that reeks and stinks with disadvantages for the retail trader!

TAH, I've checked all brokers which I have and which work until 5 pm EST and all has that spike, so I have no chance to complain Fxpro to return my money back I had SL lower than recent major lows and was sure that it is safe
looks like some bank has banked huge profit or loaded for longs. same kind of spike is on EURCHF or any other CHF pair there is no any special news regarding swiss except Miss Xenia http://www.forexfactory.com/news.php?do=news&id=300808

Reading the thread is going to take sometime but lots of good info is hear.

I think not only successful trades can teach, but also failured ones. So as promised here is my big failure of recent week.

After nice drop of EU from almost 1.45 to almost 1.40 there was some retracement up to 1.4320 level, where price rebounded from previous support, now resistance. during asia session it drifted down making new LL and LH sequence and even right befor London open it made something what in my opinion was atempt to break whoole numbeer support area 1.4200, which day before made some resistance. there was some high volume bar down to support, than high volume bar up followed by next approach to support with less volume. Here I have entered short (1). then was a long candle up with high volume, so I expected move down after it, and added one more position (2, EL2 as TAH marks it). Had a moment to close both orders at 0 in a middle, but I expected recent big move down to be continued towards 1.400 and even lower.
but new high volume candles up has came, where instead of taking SL I've added EL3 (3) at whoole number, and EL4 (4) after last high volume candle where kind of doji/star has appeared. but here active sessions has ended. I was expecting, that Asia will work counter London/NY direction as usualy they do, but during night I've got SL...
During that morning and right before Lo PA made H and LH so I have entered short (5) after PA moved lower of Dragon. Red candle was not in mind, and you see the result. Now after Nando's post (I think he was writing about that) I know, that I had to wait for rebound and to enter only if price would come lower thant this candle. but you see, there are 2-3 candles with shadows below than low of red candle.

Hope this story will help others to avoid some mistakes

Hey guys, my 100th post here with this quarterly outlook. See comments on the pics.

My short term overall bias is 55/45 bullish/bearish for the next 1-2 sessions (almost neutral). This means for me that the upward correction may not be over and PA may climb back to the 1.430-1.434 area before turning down again. The good news is that the current situation seems to offer good set-up possibilities for both directions. If anyone is interested in I will post my trading plan for both long/short later during the weekend.

Some brokers just add a suffix to the currency - nothing to worry about

PipDizzle, your vLines appear 3 hours after they should appear. Reduce your DST_Server_GMT_Offset by 3 hours. You should also confrim the DST_Zone information/setting, per user notes, with your broker. If it is wrong, however, it will only cause misplaced vLines twice a year for several weeks, as various parts of the world changeover from/to DST.
