The problem with identifying ranging and choppy markets is, well, we cant identify them. Surely enough when we look at historical charts it is easy but we do not know if we are currently stalling. Besides, just by looking at your left of your screen and the current price does not mean price is not moving. Look at the chart below. Price is at the same point where it was a month ago. But boy we made good points..

You enter with the beginning of the new candle. Make sure it is the first or second same colored candle. If it is the third or more, BigE thinks we are too late.
I personally do not think that we need to check bigger time frames. Every time frame has its own trend. No matter if H4 shows long but a good short setup formed on H1. Will it harm you to check? Of course not, but what about the D1, W1, M1 charts etc...It goes and goes...
Best setups are formed before the London open, whatever time this is for you.
Keep your losses small...You will make it..

Yes, not sure what happened there, just type GMMA in the search box above and you will find all the threads about GMMA; once you go to the first thread, look right down the bottom of that page and all GMMA related threads will have links there, all I was doing is try to help

How about using a FRACTAL? you do know what a fractal is, right?

There are indicators (sorry guys) that will plot them exactly for you as shown, in this case, you would use the HIGH as shown as the SWING point

1.check the trend.
2.check the body of first or the seconf candle,long or short.
3.TDI angle,12-2,or 4-6.
4.follow the trend.

Has anyone tried adding a Relative Stength indicator to this system and trading only strong vs weak to improve win/loss ratio???

Haven't had a lot of time to even trade lately, but I have a "prototype" knocked up that trails by the last APB (with spread added for shorts).

Yes, it also has SBE+1 after specified pips profit.

Will post it when I've tested it.

I believe TDI uses RSI already

Even though comprehensive, the T.D.I. is easy to read and use. |
