Hi guys, I have been watchiing the "dustbin trades" for a while now.

Not sure how you guys physically draw your levels but I created a .mq4 to input and adjust them, you pick a number and it creates lines above and below that (for EUR/USD it is set to 20pips above and below).

today I have been using 1.4227

I have made 5 x12 successful dustbin trades and am finished for the weekend.

Just because PA goes out of the trendline for a while, it doesn't mean the trendline is broken. As you can see PA went back every time at the end of the day, and stayed there.

If you traded like you say (trendline broken), you would lose six times.

4 hour , price hit 1.4300 and is being rejected... lets take a look if it will test 1.4200

Hi Phanti,

this kind of TL is very good in my eyes. I use the very often. They shall touch the points with much momentum. Important prts of the trindline, especially the starting point I place on the close of the candle.

And in general:

There are no in stone written rules how to draw trendlines.

In any case: best part of a trendline is simply that it gives YOUR trading an edge....
