The problem is not the charting application.

I use normally only dark grey backgrounds on all of my charts, because it is more healthy for your eyes. The color coding for my EW is adjusted to dark backgrounds. I can turn the background white, but then I have to change the color of the numberings. Since I publish all the counts on my blog, I would have to relabel all the important (historical) charts to not confuse the people with a sudden change in color code.

Even colours of the candles (with or without shades) can be changed very easily ...

And layout is automatically ok with FF forum results ... as you can see ...

I think we discussed this before, why are numbers being used and not only dots or x-marks...

I know that it only goes for 5 counts before reversal or deviation from the norm but its quite rare that this happens, isnt it?

wouldnt it better to go with price extension or pure time locked trades...

not that it matters though,

not so sure what you really mean :-(

In EW we have impulses and corrections. Impulses are counted by definition with numbers, corrections by definition with alphabetic character


Numbers wich are used are: 1,2,3,4,5
Letters: A, B, C, D, E W,X,Y,Z

Impulses can extend (better a certain subwave of an impulse). Then you got such labelings as 1,2, 1-2-3-4-5, 4, 5

corrections often come as combinations like ABC-x-ABC (called double three),
or very complex moves of various ABC moves, where the big moves then are labeled w,x,y,z

Corrective triangles consist of 5 waves and are labeled A,B,C,D,E

Just an observation. Playing with charts...

If Patterns repeat we could see 1.38 in a few days.

Yep, seen it after the fact... got stopped out of my longer term short for +100 on the way down... wasn't really to happy since I gave 100 back to the market before getting stopped out... but oh well. On to the next one.

True story. I did flip a property in 2007 to some Greeks in the old country (close to Greece). It is true. They were all over the place, Greek private persons, investors, banks with bags of money buying everything in site. I made a killing on that property (flipped it in less than 2 weeks). I bet they are holding the bags now.... empty bags that is.

Hi Stretch,

seems so. I now think the the top in that chart was the wave 3 up, then down in 4 and now in 5. Makes more sense
