Well .. we have FIFO as wello here .. but ...

But each ordered position has got an ID ...

Therefore FIFO will be only concered then - in case you unwind in partials with automatic or with fractalized "limit orders" ...

Otherwise we still can select a specific order ID ... and can say this one should be closed at first at a specific price (irrespective of FIFO rules) ...

So if not allowed ... can be only because you are with insufficient finance service authorities ...

Hedging facillities are restricted in for US residents ... I know ... one more reason for me to be glad never been forced to live there ...

Unfortunately you cannot much do against ... than simply emigrate from such states ...

Your prime broker is showing you 1.42997 - 1.43002, and you are posting 4299 - 4301 to your clients' MT4's. Now a client named TheHun hits the bid (sells), which puts you long (it was your bid) at 42990. You immediately hit your PB's bid of 42997, which covers your long, and you have 7 deci's more than you just had.

Moral: as long as you can keep your clients' market outside your PB's market, you pocket the gap. And if you have lots of retail clients, you can start to match them off against each other (internally, of course), and then you get the whole retail spread. So if I were a mm, I would be encouraging my clients to trade early, and trade often.

Agreed...

It took me about 1 week to realize that I would have a tougher time learning to trade again, then would to find a broker in any other part of the world that would allow me to trade as I always had...

As a Canadian, not to many brokers turn us away...infact, I think I have only found one...but cannot remember what the deal was on that one...or the name for that matter...

Boils down to just about anything, if you don't like the rules, don't like your job, don't like your situation...change it...don't bitch about it, because really, nobody cares...

I think there is still too many holding a short so we might see a second squeeze...
I think the problem is not if you are with Cyprus broker or Vanatu broker or Swiss broker or even Monaco broker ...

In most cases it will be the same problem ... they will have different practice of rules - depending of your origin of your residence ...

Only in case you go with multiple millions ... only then you will have a chance to find some really good protection against such things ...

No restrictions is the best ...

Exactly. Before getting going around the globe again, I'll ping citifx again. Last I talked to them they said they are not subject to these rules as they are regulated by the SEC, but were awaiting "clarifications", however. I'm not holding my breath but it's worth a try before betting into more complicated arrangements.
