I believe it was the Reuters and Bloomberg reports of the EU/IMF deal with Greece update hitting the wires. The move coincided with it.

this is all silliness. Lots of business news coming out this friday. Hold steady to your positions if you believe in it.....otherwise your stop losses better be tite. trading is warfare with self.

maybe im wrong.. but i always noticed commodities led the euro verses the usd. let me think about this.

The Greek politicians are elected. And now the electors (peasants) are gonna shut the fuck up.. when 80+ year olds.. get a 20% paycut. meanwhile the euro rises making a tourist driven economy flourish. raising gdp and allowing the Greeks to pay the banks. 80% to the banks.. sounds like a plan..
looking for 66 and or 80 .. maybe 77.9

Yeah, but the OP said said the pound cross didn't have the jump. Is good new for EUR good news for GBP? Am curious.

To busy, plus I'm more of a swing trader. I may post my long term outlook tonight if I have a chance, but I don't think others really give a crap, which is fine. Most people here are day traders, which requires a lot of time in front of the screen, plus there is a lot more noise in shorter time frames. I think people here need to look more long term and then look for entries on the shorter time frames. However, that is just me and how I go about things. People have there own way of doing things and as long as they make $, that is all that really matters.

He P, can you help me out here buddy, am up 100 pips on 1 and 60 each on 2 for 220 pips, and I can't figure out for the life of me what the heck a trend is, you got any clue there? How do you tell where it starts, where it ends and how can you tell you are still in it? Maybe I should do what everyone else here does, wait for a nice green juicy bar on the hourly and then short each and every red one on the 10 second chart, that seems to be the consensus on this thread as of late.

basically greek gov't and imf have agreed on a road map, but that still needs to get passed in the greek parliament...

OldQuant, the only reason I can think of that would make the GBP bounce muted is that they are considering their own version Quantitative Easing. Any Brits on here have an opinion since you good people are closer to the situation than I?
