Here we go. Round 2 for the bulls. The only hope for bears is the FOMC meeting - if you dont get a margin call in between.

Trade with the trend, not the news. The news is market manipulation. If you don't believe me just look at the bear news for the last 8 weeks.

A trend is a trend until its broken. Always obey S/R.

I always tell people to start out on the daily then slowly move to the lower time frames.

Not only do you have the added benefit of PA being incredibly smooth (most of the time); but, you learn some other really great things... like patience.

And, generally, the slow weeks (like this week, lots of pull backs in the PA), I pull in around 200-300 pips a week, per currency. I mean really, if you can't figure out your monies off of that... then it's time to move on to something else.

I had a nice day today, am happy just scalping dont care what trend is, no indicators, just S/R TLs candle patterns, etc

When trend is down I sell all rallies, until reverse then all over again.

and how is buying the dips any different than picking the tops? you're just picking bottoms...

it all depends on the tf you're holding trades for.

imo, it's sometimes quite easy to spot where the trend runs out of momentum and fade it (on a short term basis).. cuz for some it's not just about pips but probability.

Typical noobie answer, you can't see it so you think that you can outsmart the trend. I am up over 200 pips today on this pair alone (and that is not scaled in trades, am closing in on 4 figures on that one) no countertrader in the world can outperform the ADR.

But heh, keep thinking you are smarter then the best traders in the world and can reinvent the wheel, you will still think that when you get a margin call.

Do yourself a favour and open 2 demo accounts, trade one as a trendtrader and one as a countertrader, you will see after 4 weeks what I mean. As a trendtrader, you don't even need to be accurate, just take a feckin stab at it and you are bout to end in profit.
