we are again at his middle. last time we were at andrews middle we failed and came down. also 30m pointed here to 1.4395. a close above and then below is a short signal. still i aim at 1.444 give or take a few to look closely at a short position.

top of mr andrews pitchfort says 1.443 where 1h points to.

Well that is a long question for this thread but in general is neutral short term (3 months outlook).

As you know, oil can be a bitch to analyze from a FA perspective but from the 3 main core components: Macroeconomic numbers, risk and the micro issues (production, supply level, inventories, etc) I am only follow in depth the first 2 as micro issues are way beyond my skills and the information I have available.

In that sense, the core economies US, Europe, Japan are still struggling to make the final breakthrough from financial markets to the real economy since the financial crisis. GDP, Manufacturing and Consumer are struggling to translate the trillions of dollars pour in the economy in to the real economy. So as long as those numbers don't pick up it will be extremely hard for oil to hold above $100.

Also the emerging economies, China and Brics although holding growth are a lot more focus on monetary policy right now and containing inflationary pressures and I believe is starting to cause collateral damage as a second engine for the world economy (as they have been during the recession).

On the risk side, Oil overshoot $100 before it was ready early this year. The M. East knee jerk reaction dislocated the short term "equilibrium" price in energy markets. Obviously is oil and I agree that as soon as you have a risk factor in play you just buy and ask later. So yes, any further development will trigger oil above $100 but IMO in quick "spikes" overshoots in an out in weeks.

Finally, OPEC are having difficulties between it members (for the first time in 11 yrs) as Saudis and etc are in a completely different playing field than the other non M.East producer in terms of price and production caps to control inflationary pressures. So neutral there.
