Well I read the thread, but it said in the propoerties section put the alert to true, but for the TDI there isnt an option to do that. There's no alert system for the one I have at least?

You cant have read very far back then can you? Within 10 pages back from this post there is an indicator you can use.

Ah I must have missed that one I've found it I think it was the watchdog one you were referring to. Anyway thanks for everyone's help.

I'm interested in Daily trading as well , Can you tell me do you only enter a trade at the start of the broker's day ? 00:00 time or soon after , or do you trade at any time of the day using the Daily chart?

Even though the Forex market is 24 hours, many brokers open at 5PM eastern time (NY time) on sunday and close at 5PM ET on Friday. Also, roll over or swap at 5PM ET. It's best bet to say that the forex day opens and closes at 5PM ET everyday. If you want to trade this method daily, I'd suggest to find a broker with open and close daily candle at 5PM ET. Enter trade at the open of a new daily candle, 5:00PM ET. Exit? It's up to you. Do I trade daily candle? Yes, I do. My stop loss is 5 day ATR. Take profit, at least 1:1. Learn to read HA, basically very similar to Japanese candles, along with green crosses over red and you'll be fine. Remember, the higher the time frame, the stronger the price action and the trend. Good luck with your trading.

My new daily candles come on at midday my time (Perth Aus.) and I have had success trading the daily at this time, do you feel that it makes a difference on the time when daily candles start ? provided that all conditions are met I cant see that it would matter when the new daily candles start, or am I missing something here.

Thanks Mele & ndhoanggia I have a demo with fxdd and there day starts at 5pm ny if I have it correct. that's about 9am here in NZ across the ditch from Mele.

Hi MeLe, this method is a trending method and most of the daily move happens during the London session. It's best to enter the trade at the beginning of the London session. I like daily candle opens and closes at 5PM NY time is because I live in NY. I think I'm just too "New York-centric." You have had success with daily candle trades, in my opinion, is because you enter the trade during mid to late asian and beginning of the London session. If it ain't broke, don't fix it right? Keep on making those pips MeLe.

PA is flat and ranging.

TDI cross is flat BigE says take 1-2 o'clock angle for long. 4-5 o'clock for short.

Stochastics pointing in right direction, but very close to being over bought.

I would wait until the PA shows a defined movement.
