DislikedThanks Guys and Girls for all the comments.
I managed to scrape together £8,000 to trade with (after demoing) lost a fair bit to start with now back up to my £8,000, but realistically you're all saying what I really think but don't want to.
I just can't compete with traders with so much more experience and knowledge, I thought I could make £100 a day which I could survive on for a while but truth is I can't even do that consistently.
Looks like it's back to the day job.......Ignored
8k is not a bad amount to start trading with, will you make a living with an account that size living in the UK wanting to make 100 quid a day from the get go, no.
Einstein called compounding the 8th wonder of the world. You need to give yourself a trackrecord of a year to see what you can get out of the market on average and put that in a spreadsheet to see if it will make you a living over time.
The problem is that having 8k and expecting to take out 100 quid a day will not let you build your capital and your compounded return.
Why don't you focus on the higher TF's for now, the daily and weekly so you can still hold a job and keep your toe in the water.
People wanting to trade fulltime need a proper plan, pay of all your debt, have no mortgage, set aside enough money to live on for 2 years, have enough capital to start depending on your trackrecord and then you have a chance.
