But I would tend to say ... that you need 50'000 - 150'000 Euro or Dollar minimum (depends on where you are living) in your deposit funds ... to make a halfway meaningful step up ...

Below that ... consider it as just for fun ... oder aus Scheiß ...

For that reason ... in former days there has been no serious institution of finance ... where you could have been tried it with less ...

More than 15 - 20 Years ago ... just even the mentioned amount would not have been accepted as a simple start up package for this beautiful game ...

Not with a proper and serious financial service ...



Think about it for a while ...

I trade at around 20pounds a point. All I need is 20-30 a day. It never seems to work out that way as I normally get a lot more a week than 100-150 points but that 2000-3000 a week. Thats a good enough for me depends on your kind of life style I suppose buying lots of houses etc need plenty of pips to do that

dont know how many out there think they can deposit 15k and make a living out of it.... we r talkin about 25-40 % monthly performance here.... nearly impossible in the long run if you dont be a very very very good trader imo...

Thats using brokers like IB. Need 50 grand in the account to execute a decent trade. I dont bother with them anymore. I've got a 6 spreadbet account open now no tax to pay no hassle just got know what your doing
as these firms let you go in with lots of leverage obviously to kill novices off quick.

This is a business, but most don't take it as such. It is very stressful and hard work, maybe not a lot better than the job you hate.

Why not keep both your job and trading? Whatever you earn from your job will add to your capital in trading business. Trading will not generate consistent profits, income from job will keep paying your bills.
