Guys ... I don't know how your access to the market works ...

But did you notice that typical jump in prices at exactly 23:00 CET (21:00 GMT / 17:00 EST) while rollover swap procedures ?

First up 1.4212 then down 1.4189 and back to 1.4203 ?

Hehe ^^

Ya gotta watch the spread rate @ roll over to appreciate how big of a joke this is...

Price might have dipped, but spreads were wide open and even a short at nugget wouldn't have filled for much more then a couple quick shekles...

There is always another trade to take, and the price of roll over is usually available during the early Tokyo session.

Sit out the roll, and wait out the whip...

had a trade open at that time and was not able to close it at the spike down.
Huge spread at that time.

Yes ... and I know ... some services stop the access during those procedures ... so that customers cannot see that what is going on there ...

Or some do disable trading facillities for a minute or something like that ...

But there must be something behind ...

Admitedly, I like to hammer a quickie here n there, but so far, I have yet to find a broker that will allow an exit on one of these. It's like the minutes before during and after NFP...Quick chop that even if you are in the good, the broker won't execute a profitable trade. When you want to exit and when you can exit are quite often very different places...

For me, I am out of trades 30 mins before NY close and won't typically look for a trade much before the TK opening bells...

I have learned this lesson too many times for me to want or need to take a trade...

Very little on the news front for tomorrow, besides the UoM Consumer Sentiment. I suspect news from Greece will be the main market driver and my feeling is that some European officials will try to calm the markets before the week-end.

So I see upside for EURUSD tomorrow during the European session and perhaps a test of the 1,4260 resistance level. The previous resistance at 1.4200 which was just surpassed a couple of hours ago will probably become support.
