OK, based on this latest analysis a short at your level seems OK, maybe place a stop at 4192. I think it will make a new attempt in direction of 4190 (looks like an ending diagonal). Will short there too and close my small long scalp.

Hi Infinitus Ew is a valueable tool in trading however i use Ma which similar in a sense, i don't trade with bias it with get you into trouble while making decision i trade what see then and now.

Upside limited at first ...

As long as mkt does not cut lower than 1.4157 or 1.4150 it can see some corrective upside towards 1.4226 - 1.4239 or 1.4262 again. Extention to 1.4304 - 1.4319 is possible later as well ...

While below 1.4226 or 1.4262 there is still risk towards 1.4127 - 1.4070 ...

However Infinitus with the s&p 500 mainly below 1300-50 Eur will stay down plus other data into play, but as i say trade what i see and only that, that't what i have learn to do over the years. nothing more than that

Lol no i had took a long earlier at 1.4160 and was stop was @ BE reason for stating stop out

Hmmm price stop me out and move up again, shouldn't have mention that i had stop there to forex factory.

The Australian share market is likely to follow US market down today after global equity and commodities markets declined overnight on weakening US economic data and Greece’s escalating debt crisis.
At 7.15am AEST on the ASX 24, the June share price index futures contract was down 52 points at 4517 points. The June contract is due to expire at midday today. The September contract was down 54 points at 4502.


What you need to know

 

  1. The SPI was 52 points lower at 4517
  2. The $A was trading at $US1.056
  3. In the US, the S&P500 lost 22.45pts, or 1.7%, to 1265.4
  4. In Europe, the FTSE100 lost 60.6pts, or 1%, to 5742.5
  5. Gold rose $US6.35 to $US1530.75 an ounce
  6. WTI crude oil fell $US4.56 to $US94.81 a barrel

if next 4h closes above where we are (roughly 1.4172), my chicken bones tell me we are going up to 1.4260-80 and then down to 1.4190.
