Wow ! Very nicely said, Mr Hawaii. There are many bandits out there in this game. TMS is but a vehicle to attempt the journey with.

Also just curious Hawaii. What are your personal experiences with TMS in terms of pips, adjusted to single position trading (or close to it). I find on many forums that alot of people, myself included, speak of what they feel they can achieve with a trading system in the near future rather than what has actually taken place. iykwim

I have been trading the 1H using the 15M to fine-tune entries and where possible, looking to how I can add to the position if / when it evolves into a 4H set-up. I trade the first 3-4 hours of the London open and most of the time am holding positions up to 3 hours (despite the aforementioned goal). I have been tempted to trade both sides on different timeframes, but to date have not bothered. Over the past 5 weeks, I am averaging approximately 150+ pips per week / 25 pips per trade. I fully expect losing weeks, but I have been very selective. My main goal is to add position size as opposed to the number of pips. I am not wired to trade the 4H unfortunately - some people here make it look very easy. I like the system - it suits me, but I have already been guilty of "tweaking it" for my own personal comfort. I really like the simplicity of the method and the people on this thread - I think that is why I thought it was worth my 5 cents replying to your earlier post. Pure price action trading is too discretionary and open to interpretation for me. TMS gives me 80% of what I need to get in and out whilst leaving plenty of pips for everyone else. Just my opinion and early days so please dont place much weight on what I have said . All the best.

I think the TMS system is a good one, watching the synergy videos seemed to help fill in the gaps for me. BiGE studied the Synergy method (amongst many others) and kept the bits he liked that worked for him. My feeling is that BigE follows alot the "good practice" that Dean Malone talks about in his videos, BigE just trades it in a much more aggresive way. If you watch Dean's videos you absorb the information and you start looking at your charts and the TDI in a very different way (almost without thinking about it). Just go to the Compass FX website its all on there.

Hi all just learning this method and it looks great, just one question:

See the chart attached what would stop you going long and entering a loosing trade at the area marked with a yellow line?
If it's just one of those things and it would have been a looser then that's fine, i just don't want to miss anything if you have a way of filtering this kind of signal?

Someone asked (pm) me recently what to see on HA before considering it a very high chance to go my direction. I think is better to share it.
I have attached 2 sample of HA candles to always look for IN THE DIRECTION OF THE TREND AS A SIGNAL 1-2 CANDLE. YOU CAN BACK TEST SOMETHING THAT LOOKS LIKE IT AS A 1-2 CANDLE SIGNAL FROM ORIGINAL RULES. IT HAS A VERY HIGH % OF WINNING YOUR DIRECTION AND WILL NOT CLOSE TO YOUR STOP LOSS (most of the time). IT HAS MEDIUM BODY WITH UPPER AND LOWER WICKS. IT MAY NOT REALLY COME AS YOU WANT, BUT WHEN YOU SEE THEM, IT GIVES YOU MORE CONVIDENCE.
Take note of the open,close, high and low and you will see what i am talking about.

Thanks 2scoops, very helpful mate. For now I think i'll concentrate on the one strategy, my unique one indicator system, and if that bombs ill definitely check it out. Cheers again!

Just started trading a demo account for this system.
First 2 trades were winners in 1HR.
I started on Sunday when FX market opened. I probably wouldn't trade this in real life since London isn't open yet. But I want to start getting a feel for reading the TDI indicator. And I have a full time job, so I can only trade the 1HR between 5pm-11pm EST.
I actually plan on trading the 4HR time like Big E (and Daily) so I'm demo trading those also. The 1HR is just extra pratice.

USDCAD Short @ 9pm EST
Close @ 11pm EST (going to bed, but TDI went flat also)
6 pips
- The move peaked at a 30 pip profit a few bars later. But TDI had already gone flat before the 2nd drop.
- Had I stayed in and ignored the flat and waited for check mark, it would have bee 9 pips profit.

USDCHF Long @ 10pm EST
Close @ 11pm EST (going to bed, TDI hadn't hooked yet)
11 pips
- Had I waited until TDI hooked I would have got out with 15 pips.
- But the trade peaked at a 30 pip gain also.

Do you guys see anything in the charts or indicators that could have got me out at the max 30 pip profit besides a Fix Profit Stop of 30 pips?
