good, im also looking for a short on pullback today... but i doubt there will be any real movement until US open, EUROPE's on holiday today and so if anything today would be a pullback day...

Most noobs think they are the best traders since sliced bread, jumping the gun left right and center in anticipation. Waiting for a confirmed setup and foregoing those few first pips is the most profitable addition to any noobs' strategy. No need to be a freakin hero, wait for the market to make up its mind and just follow the rest, retailers can never be leaders, they need to learn to be stupid, ignorant and just follow the crowd. The best retail traders are as dumb as a box of rocks.

All you gotta do is figure out where the rest is going and just follow along fat dumb and happy.

Hi guys,

Sounds like A few of you are having issues with a strategy and sticking to it even if it means being 120 pips up and taking a loss. I trade forex futures and have decided to post my trades live on twitter with running commentry. Obviously I'm NOT saying take these trades, but it may be of interest to some of you. I am an experienced discretionary trader and don't stick to any "strategy".

Hi to all!
I am a newbie and have been following this thread for about two months now. I have been learning a bit from some great traders here. Played around with demos for about year, live about 3 months now – down more than 50%. Open to ANY and ALL advice. In it for the long haul, not trying to get rich quick. Just want to stop or slow the bleeding!! Trully enjoy trading and very eager to learn.

too bad I've always been kind of a blackjack guy... The hard part for me sometimes has to do with not doing anything... sitting on my hands.

Not being in a trade is a trade, it is called capital preservation. It should rank very high in your different strategies you use during the day.
