As 1.4285 has been lowest taken (confirmed) and we must be aware ... that certain dealing desks did have seen such nice rates ...

For them a 100 pip range has been reached when 1.4385 has been given ...

Think about that ... as it is a fact ...

usdx has a beautiful mofu cross on a daily with close. oil still in ping pong mode between mofus.. silver has a b/o on the day.. still have 32.22 as the next target. then 27.83.. gold hit my 1492 target and hasn't made a higher high since.(month ago) it did make it past 1552.81 a level on the chart to 1440.40.. but it made a bunch of dojis there. the cross above the mofu was broken candles...we are atm hung up above the lower level, so rejection is expected.. . next would be 1440.40 in the sequence.

So, can we assume there's this invisible gap between 4320 (our charts) and 4285 (EBS charts), and that it's going to be closed - the price action will move towards that 4285 level?

No no ... missunderstanding ...

There have not been a gap ...

Fridays last via IMM (Chicago closing) has been around 1.4339 ...

Sunday opening Wellington has been around 1.4348 ...

Highest been aprox. 1.4359 ...

Lowest been aprox. 1.4285 ... (only very few selected ones had a chance to get that) ask GATOR ...

now around 1.4352 ...

Hello everyone. Hope you all had a good weekend!

Quick question:

How is it possible that RSI is at 36 and Stoch is at 72, like the H1 chart for this pair? These two things are contradicting each other.

RSI is telling me that it is just above oversold level and Stoch is telling me that this pair is just under overbought level.

Can somebody help me out?

EU is amiming for 4260-50 judging by my calculations. Shorts are preferred today, and stops should be placed around 4382. We will see where the momentum will push the price, but ideally this should be it for London session.

i just failed to look at that....

but yea xe.com will give you up to the min quotes on all pairs through the weekend...

ck there and you will know if your pair will open with a gap if you are holding it through the weekend.

That's why ...
True intrabank is pre-Wellington in my view. It used to be the pre-open so to speak. Banks would use this time to review their in house positions and inventory. To get a price during this time you used to have to be a very good customer. As FX volume as increased greatly over the years, this has changed. As cloggs was saying last nite, Asian volume is exploding. I suspect in short order, more brokers will offer earlier prices, as the liquidity is getting better.
