This is the hard part....trade management. Everyone has to decide what they are comfortable with, but I am going to move all stops to BE and let positions ride... but taking half off the table would be good too.

just wanted to ask that, im close to 900 pips now, never ever had so much in ONE day....i notice that im becoming nervous about that , dont want to give that back....have to concentrate now and dont make mistakes...handle it like lg now, move to be every position and go away....will look at the weekend again!!!! happy pips to all

It is never wrong to take profit, but we may have the start of a long trend here too and that is what we have been looking for. If you would have a better weekend...take some profit, but try to leave positions open too, they can be very small.

New comer to the thread - and while I understand leaving trades open for the big run - why not just take your 900 pips profit - stop being nervous and call it a day, month, week? Start again on Sunday afternoon - look for new entries and go to the bank with your 900...

because imo this strategie is going for bigger profits, these 900pips are 15 positions at all, and IF the trend continues idk monday and tuesday for example i can have 3000 pips or so....as lg said, take some profit BUT give the market the chance to go on....

It took us all week to finally get here, so we don't want to totally close it down, not the purpose of this trading setup.

Awesome trades guys! Some really outstanding profits I see. Good going!

I am now in positive territory for the week in the MT trades. One day's trading brought four days of negative back up.
I am not doing as well as most since I did not get to watch the charts last night and get in on some of those moves. I am only in five trades but all are doing well. I am not disappointed. I have moved three to BE and will let them all ride while the charts agree.

I am getting a feeling for what money management is necessary before moving to live account. That for me is the most important aspect of this demo trading.

Have a great weekend everyone. I will be studying the charts from this week and look forward to better and better trading days ahead.

I have to be honest and confess that I am still reading trough the entirely of the thread but placed the following trades early this morning only to return from work with the following results:-
EURJPY +153 pips
EURUSD +176 pips
EURGBP +25 pips
AUDUSD +83 pips
GBPUSD +145 pips
GBPJPY +14 pips
Extraordinary - 596 pips !!


Do I stay in the trades and review on Monday or close them all out?

If it's demo. you may keep untill Monday to see what happens. If it's live, my advice is to close half lot of all pairs and bank some profit and move SL to BE for the other half lot. Just my personal opinion.

I'm wondering if we would be more profitable with compounding by taking signals from the higher time frames and exiting on shorter ones.

Heck, you could make a couple % of your account daily with just +40 to +50 pips a day.
