Was waiting for the daily BO when I noticed a daily 3T. Entered a little late, but closed for +56! Got out just in case price reverses on the BO line.

Still waiting on the BO.

well, my CHFJPY MT is looking good, 20 pips and pointing in the right direction!

remember its a news day for GBP, might go either way.

Good point. Might be worth it to get out while ahead on GBPJPY and GBPUSD. Which announcement is a big deal?

EDIT: On the other hand, if we start paying attention to every upcoming news announcement that could have a big impact, we might be jumping out of MT trades all the time.

What is everyone's thoughts? My current system is to get out of everything for NFP Fridays.

I'm getting ready to look for MT trades in about 30 minutes.
I bagged +77.4 pips on the moves earlier though. Hit my TP on both.

Does anyone have a tip/trick to get MT4 to run faster? The more charts I'm loading, the slower it's getting.

What type of machine are you running on? I don't think MT4 is very demanding.

Also, what TP levels are you using? The MT system is all about letting trades run for hundreds of pips. That's not to say other implementations of the trigger wouldn't be profitable, so i'm interested in your TP methods.

Running it on my gaming laptop. Very fast, i5-450m, 5850 mobility hd, 4GB RAM; it shouldn't be a problem! (Unless it's running normally and I'm just not used to stuff being this slow, heh).

My TP levels on both were around Daily S1 and round numbers. These were H4 3T trades, not MT trades.

Heck, if I could make +77.4 pips everyday and just take my profits there, I would certainly be a very rich and happy man.

True that. You don't have a GX-640 by chance? Specs sound very similar

I'm surprised you are having issues. My MT4 is very snappy, I actually leave my MT4 running while gaming all the time. Maybe it's the specific version of MT4 you are using? What broker? Off topic, what do you play?

My, my, somebody knows their laptops!

Once loaded, MT4 is very snappy, it just seems slow to load the charts when I first boot it up. I'm with OANDA.

I play a lot of shooters: CS:S, BFBC2, TF2, stuff like that. I also have some strategy games like SC2. My biggest anticipated game of forever though is BF3 hands down.

I've also added a short position on EUR/USD based on H4 3T. TP set for Daily S1.

I use Oanda for gap trading, but haven't tried their MT4 platform. It's not web-based like their default platform, is it? if not, I really don't know what the problem could be. Their web-based platform is pretty slow though, I can't stand it.

I'm just going to use OANDA for all my trading until I need an ECN. They seem very reputable. I don't really use their web-based platform at all to be honest, haha.

Give me a PM and we can talk about games! Maybe I'll add you on Steam or something and we can play sometime and discuss.

Does anybody notice a difference in success rates for MT trades when they are trading with monthly RSI vs. "against" it?

Up a good amount of pips right now...about +400.

Man does this system take some patience when trading live.

EURUSD just triggered for the MT system. Glad to hear it's also been triggered on the 4H 3T system (I'm in as well).

HI all, this MT trade is now +170 pts, second day might look good to enter again,

Question do you think its best to move past BE ? say lock in 100 points ? still giving it room to grow ?
