May be it's a strategy more for the brokers profit than for the traders welfare. If you trade only after indicators you lose the money, you could hear extremely often from experienced traders. If you don't use your brain and your experience and the multiple time frame analyses you wouldn't manage any trading systems. Believe me!,...and take the time to adapt a trading system at your personality, at your risk tolerance and at your corpus rationale, which really works for you not for others. I really think that this strategy are blowing soap bubbles...

i dont think i get the differences btn the timezones. sometimes i see a green heading violently down (say 5 oclock) but the 4h is pointing up, what do you do?
check tdi is in correct area not extreme to ensure trade is not exhausted (32 - 68 area)
in his checklist. isnt it better to short from the highest (above 68) and long from below 32? if not, why? if i check the history that seems to be the case?

I wouldn't care much if the cross is UP at 32 or down at 68. Yes, it IS a bonus maybe, but just a little binus IMO. To me it does not add any significance of the cross because I'd like to KISS: The Power of the cross and Basic Forex are the core factors.
Maybe, just maybe, we need to give more attention to exit rules. Here I am a bit confused - many trades I took were closed too early (following rules). I am tempted and I tend to Enter on CROSS+Basic4X and exit on Basic4X. This violates the Big E rules and I do not recommend it, just a note.

I take no notice.
Moves begin to play out on shorter timeframes before longer ones. If you see, for example, a long entry signal on the 1h and then look back to the 30m, you'll see that move has already established itself and given an entry signal on that shorter timeframe.
Just as shorter timeframes show moves earler though, they also show the ending of moves earlier. So when you have that long entry signal on the 1h, you flick back to the 30m to check that this isn't just a short-term move that's finishing. That would show itself by TDI angle levelling out/candles reducing in size or reversing on that shorter timeframe.
In other words, before entering a trade, I check the next shorter timeframe to make sure everything's looking good.
It would seem to make more sense then to trade the shorter timesframes, as you're getting signals earlier. Trouble is the shorter the timeframe you use, the more you're trading in noise and the more liable you are to catch whipsaws/news moves.
Longer timeframes iron that noise out, presenting you with stronger and better-established directional bias in the market.
I do check longer timeframes than the one I'm trading on to establish trend and look for support/resistance areas.

i agree many trades are closed too early but it is better to make 1 pip profit than 1 pip loss .we can never have the same exit rules because we hv different expirences and margins. Personaly i use ATR TO TRADE 4HR TF and tp not more than 70 pip depending on pairthen come to lower time frame to see movements at times. WE SHLD ALWAYS AVOID GOOD TRADES TURNIN LOSES.

Hi I have a quick question which isnt completely clear to me when reading the thread...
We enter when the green TDI crosses the red. Do we enter on the beginning of the next candle once it has crossed? or can we enter in the middle of a candle whilst it is crossing?
I am just trying to understand so that I can practice and also look back over previous charts. I am just consious of the candles maybe repainting and also the TDI looking like it is going to cross but by the time the candle closes it didnt actually cross... do you see what I mean?
Basically are we entering on candle closes/opening of the new candle or mid candle?

I wouldn't worry. You could present the simplest system in the world and there would always be some people who fail. They'd mess with the rules, overtrade or whatever. And of course, it would always be the system's fault because they couldn't possibly be wrong. That's why they're so successful that they're searching around for new systems to try!

Thats it. If the system is not good it would not have pulled such huge traders on ff in such a short time and dean malone with our big E would have failed. But that never happened. I am happy am part of it. Lets move on friends
