And here we go again, trying one more time to complicate the original easy and simple template and system, at this point there are some charts that looks like a Christmas tree.
Indicators always obey Price, not the other way.

I just entered long on the usd/chf at 83779 with a limit of 50 pips on the four hr chart. Please comment with assist. Thks PS. Time was 10:29 Eastern Daylite Savings time

Yes the template at the start of the thread should be at the core of your setup, (if people choose to ignore this then they are doing so at their own risk) Keep it simple.

i cancelled my EU long for UC though the two seems going up. I entered UC around .850 on 1hr tf and wil leave it to ride for a while cos of strong restance on weekly and daily chat. US news speech coming up later may help the matter

Thks for the help - It is answers like this that get me thinking about looking at different things like S/R on longer timeframe and calendar.

I don't understand - I did not realize we had to wait until it hit 50. It did go up 11+ pips but now down to +3. It just really looked like a strong move up on the 4hr so I took it. Wish I had gotten in sooner like 2scoops did. I do appreciate feedback.

Yes, my understanding is that if you're going long and the TDI is below 50, all the better!

Looked like a good signal for sure, but you're trading against the long-term trend and right into potentially strong resistance at yesterday's high. Then again, it could just pop that resistance and earn you well. If it does though, I'd bring stop loss into break even pretty fast. Or if it turns south, I'd get out quick!

traco1 you want to be careful of over trading, the aus trade was far to close to the ob line, and the tdi doesnt have to be crossing the 50 line to warrent to get in a trade, might be the best place for it to be, but Big E also said that he's had some great trades when the tdi has just come down/up from the ob/os areas, stick to the rules Big E has set out.

As far as I know, BIG E wanted to have a zen like clean system. So he started out from cluttered full systems and screens - and stripped off what is not necessary! Just read the first few pages of this thread. So there shouldn`t be any M15 screenshots in this thread - no additional indicators..... and no EA.

Just my understanding of his teaching. And my impression from his other thread ( in the Commercial section).
