Hello,

I am brand new to Forex and this is my first post and the first trading plan I've ever tried. Awesome stuff!

Please share with me your thoughts.

Thank you!

It's OK to make losing trades. It's part of the package when trading FX.

Trading FX is like taking an exam. You're bound to get a few of your answers wrong. But as long as you have more answers right. You pass. And that's what matters.

Training Chart...

this is a good example of chart where there is no man's land.

TDI is extremely flat.

I notice that you do not use the HA candles and Stoch for your 1H trades. How is that?

Bom2...

Your statement in Bold, if I may define it, so we enter position while the TDI is still on progress? On any timeframe when green crosses red (12-2 or 4-6 angle) we enter the trade at the beginning of that candle... check out the basic stuff as discussed earlier.
Ignored
I got tripped up on this myself.

I think it can be expressed this way:
Candle 1: green has NOT cross red
Candle 2: green crossed red
Candle 3: enter at the beginning of candle

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Im using the H1, i dont intend to scalp forever, im just struggling to hold trades for along time, i noticed that almost all decent tdi crosses go for at least 10 pips so i thought id start there. Ideally id like to work with a better r:r set and forget setup (maybe 30SL and 30TP) but i need to get better at identifying the good trades and work out what SL/TP combo works best

Hi guys. Is there anyone who remembers Big E's take profit strategy? I read several time but I could not find anything about it. How many pips are enough for Big E especially when he trades in 4 HR time frame?

I use 4 HR and trying to reach at least 200 pips a week.

Thank you.

That really is amazing,

do you mind if i ask what your background is? How long have you been trading for?

Would you say that you have a strong understanding of forex fundamentals i.e. support and resistance, fibs, economical influences etc. or are you more focused on the nuts and bolts of TMS like TDI cross angle and stochs etc.

Thanks

hello
considering that I'm still in demo
i'm studing Forex from 2 months.. but many many hours a day ..
I did a course, tried dozens of systems, studied EA..
interested me the first page of this tread and the simplicity of this system(I think BIG E is a very intelligent and generous to share his efforts of his life)
enough to study the manual and do a lot of backtest

I do not know much fundamental .. I think I know just enough to

But I think.. as in many things in life.. more complicate you are and more your business go slow..

I look TDI, previous candles, 3 Stoch, before and after TF, news and resistances... (and a little imagination)
(Albert Einstein said that imagination is more important than the knowledges)

are still in the demo.... in a few days leave in real.. I'm choosing the broker

Drifter,

I made $184.00 today (184 pips = $1.00 per pip) on three
different contracts on the 4 hour chart using Eelfranz method
of tdi plus 5ema shift +2. No big deal. Set your trades and
take a nap and quit watching every pip move.

Roterio,

My take profit is at approximately $100.00 give or take depending
on how the market is looking. Also if the tdi green line starts
to flatten out on you = 3:00 direction, take profits.

Today the eur/usd was really making a move so I held longer
because of the volitility in the market. And made a nice little
profit.

After years of studying forex I think one of the secrets is the
4 hour chart. If I had to specialize on some of forex secrets
they would be 1). the tdi indicator. 2). 4 hour time frame.
3). ema 5 shift +2. 4). letting each trade have some room
to move around. 5) maybe taking a nap is a good idea...

Danyjoe, there are no vertical lines on your charts to show where you entered and you have a 5 digit broker. No big deal, just hoping we are all talking the same language, that all.
