as Cloogie said today too, EURUSD has 2 instruments, EUR and USD.
So,
When yuo see US equities going under like a rock, that means you are getting USD strength from selling equities - [cashing out in USD]..
from the other side, we saw also USD weakness as Gold moved $8 in no-time.

So, a bit complicated, but obviously the amount of USD coming from equities was significant. If you are looking for long or short 1.4360 is your answer.. Look back few days, it is all about that level. If defended, then we may see a new high with NYSE close, or if breached, then we easy see all longs covered in EUR and probably a nice drop back under 4300..

Why do you say that?. Surely stocks are getting "intraday hammered" but the ES is having a nice sell off after those news in comibnation with QE2 and QE3 pre mumbojumbo. but I don't see anything scary or out of the range like that time when the selloff took off in air below massive weekly support minutes before the close.

There is plenty of room to test last week lows which is a key support level. Only a clean weekly break below with NFP will trigger alarms all over the place for shorts and put the FED in the spotlight ( btw, I am expecting dollar to be in the driver sit in this pair for the next few months....).

Meanwhile enjoy the ride....

Its called retention.....I dont want to lose the funny $$ the Fed made me over the last 6 months....over and out....at least I would be exiting if I was in equities....just my take....survival IMHO.

if they got out the eu. and had their own currency. and created a international travel hub.. they could collect usd, euros , yen. won.. or what ever. they could steal tourist from london/ paris/ and all of europe.. with their own weaker currency.. they could hoard the currency coming in.. . they could have a higher standard of living then most of the eu. the could default and leave Germany and the others with the guaranteed debt to pay.. come out with 0 debt and start over.. that's what i would do..

I missed 2 obvious setups because I was watching Gold instead of looking at EUR.
