It is directly related to the slope required to validate entry: that is last leg to point 12-2 OR 4-6 clockwise.

5 (five) is just the moving speed of green line (RSI units per candle, timeframe does not matter) that I think can be described as being "12-2"/"4-6" headed. However, this number might be 4.6 or 5.7, I am not sure and nobody can be, but in general "more is better" apply of course. Speed of 10 per candle is definitely a good speed for example.

Scaning: I have my own scanner that scans all currency pairs and all timeframes looking for 1) Cross 2) Good slope 3) Stochastic conclusive slope (three altogether) and fires alert(s) if found. Makes my life easier. Nothing fancy. If you are interested in 2-3 pairs only you can do it manualy anyway.

Hope you are feeling better.

I'm fairly new to forex and have not made money - in fact, have lost! I have a professional trading my account and they too are consistently losing - 5 months in a row. Just found this thread today and signed up for the first time. I believe I should be able to do this on my own, but think I need to go back to the drawing board and start over. I was wondering if you are able to send me links that'll show me how to get started using the method you discuss in this thread so I can have a good grounding.

Based on the chart you posted with that ichi light indi it is slighly different to the link you have provided in that you can't change it to a better colour (like the blue you have) and is there any way to make is bigger so more easily readable. Merci

One of the Russian traders (his nick is Shuba) created a new indicator-histogram, TDI_Histo.mq4

It shows the difference between the green line and the red line. When the green line crosses the red line the histogram crosses the zero. If the green line is above the red line then the histogram is above the zero, if the green line is below the red line then the histogram is below zero. The value of the histogram's bar shows the difference at the beginning of the hour: for example, if the green line at the beginning of the hour is 40 and the red line is 51 then the bar's value is -11.

The histogram behaves exactly like TDI itself - it doesn't repaint until we refresh it or reload the Metatrader.

You can add some levels, I added 10 and -10, because I noticed that when the difference is 8-10-12 it usually means a reversal.

Go back to page 1 of this thread and you will find this information. Also, read everything here from the start. It is a lot of reading, but i've found i learn something from almost every post.
