ive lost many² pips these weeks....
ive been brought the execution based on TDI cross ...but hell yeah ....the news schrew up everythings...
i think i must more carefull for the news time now ...or anyone have any suggest ???

ill be back to trade next week...and =still= using ur great methode BigE...

Are you referring to a steep move, bounce on sup/res (or just above/below sup/res) and then a further move in the direction of the original steep move?

note; Im asking as I cant locate the other thread.

Hi Dean. Yes I was NOT trading bigE's strategy, but i thought i would mention it to prove the power off round numbers and trading the same way as the market movers. I saw a potential opportunity, and got 40+ pips out of it setting up on the 5min chart. It was pure fluke I saw it as I had marked the resistance level the day before and was scrolling through my charts. I only took it as I had exceeded my target for the week,& the trade was low risk (i had >10 pip stop) and high probability. Just trading the bounce off the resistance level of 1.43.

dont trade while news time especially no scalps....

And if you do want to trade during news, then trade off the higher TF's ie 4H upwards and ALWAYS try to go with the trend , you will do well that way

I dont think this guy really needs much advice after many folks have tried to calm him down.
Initially, he has not known many basic things in forex. Let him go back to babyschool has suggested ealiar. This is not a place to advice you what to know or not.
Many a times before now,we have blown away our accounts because we dont know how trade or we don't have a good system. But now that the system is good, many of us are dancing with pips surrounding us. To me the guy deviated from simple system that made him over 300 pips/week and now looking for sympathetic advice? Let him learn first to control himself (which nobody can teach him) or else he will just be enriching his broker for nothing.

Dean, how was your live performance this week? Were you able to make progress?
I was a little busy this week but still manage to increase my account by
26 % in 7 tradings. (5 wins 2 minor loses caused by impatience)
I am trying to perfect my trading so that i will only take the best set ups to minimize loses.
Hope this coming week will make us laugh.

Hi folk's,

Well, i've just loaded up a practice trading platform (oanda, as meta 4 won't load on my pc for now, but i'll work it out), and am having a fiddle around. Have been enjoying reading and learning from this great thread put together by the big fella, and all the excellent contributions. Just have to import a TDI into Orana platform, after i work out how to open an MQ4, then i'm off and running with some demo trades.

The E/U and G/U look pretty flat at the moment, and dodgy to trade, if i'm reading it correctly. Anyway, total beginner here, and enjoying the journey. Thankyou ball boy, thank you linesmen, and hope you're feeling better E bloke.

eu moved 200 pips on friday, cable 134 ( atr ), that isnt flat at all

cuz i did always try to follow the trend with a big help from TDI cross..

Basically the higher the TF the less importants daily news announcments as the silly movements are abosorbed by the enormosity of the charts ( except when its real big news like it natural disasters, wars etc )
If I am trading the 4H I will always zoom out to see the general trend HH and HL, and also go to a TF higher and see if thats is in the same trend
for example at the moment UC is a beauty for a trend down
Virtually every TF shows down trend so basically you cant go wrong if you dont put a silly SL in and / or high Lotsize , (the retracements will get your SL if you are too tight but of course a retracement on a daily can go a fair way back ond of course , trends dont last forever so you need to recognize reversal patterns soon.
I stick with trading on 4H and Daily mainly cos i have better things to do than watch the one hour, (But I always try to go with the trend as it just makes the EDGE better to this already good strategy )

What I mean is dont just use the TDI cross okay

are you using oandas mt4 platform?

Hi, I am very new. I'd love to have the indicator I need by Monday. I'm so new that I found it a major challenge (successfully met) uploading the original (post #1) template called "#1 Best...." into Finfx mt4.

I'm getting the same image that an early poster got - just a line - with no candles. Wanting to correct that, I read through the replies just after that post from the thread originator - and saw something called the TDI red green. I got that uploaded into the templates file where it doesn't belong.

1. It's an mq4 file. Where should I put it inside the MT4 installer?
2. Original poster: Is there any other indicator I'd really need?

If there is any other modification on the "#1 Best..." I need to know what it is. Continuing to read the thread just makes me feel more at sea. I won't be ok til I have successfully uploaded the TDI Red Green. Assuming that's the only indicator the original poster really thinks is enough.
