I don't, but i would think the benefits of trading these time frames would be getting in winning trades sooner. The drawbacks would be getting in more ranging losing trades I would think.

I understand what you're saying and I think that same notion applies to all timeframes but I have been looking at some of the charts for the various timeframes and have noticed that when you approach a signal from the TDI and you take into account proper PA you can filter out a lot of crappier trades. Yeah occasionally you will see that this PA filtering might leave you out of a good trade but more often than not it will prevent you from getting into a losing trade. Same sort of PA analysing that E was talking about, very important for any timeframe.

The only way to know would be to give it a shot. If you do, I would say good luck!

I tried, but it will not be simple anymore. The best TFs, after trying out this method, live, is 1 HR and 4 HRS. You need to be patient.

Nice Move with the UCf. I opened on this daily signal and caught a nice short move about 3 hrs into the new candle. I went ahead and closed with about 70 pips, since nearing the Avg Daily Rnge. Rare to catch a move this big this time of day.

I left some pips on the table, but I guess I just like to ring the cash register a lot.

Did you ever have times when it seems like YOUR MOUSE CLICK instantly causes the market to go the wrong way? And your trades always go into loss when you enter them?

I think one of the best things about this system is that; every trade seems to get you into pos territory at some point, and usually sooner than later. Even if you end up with a loser, you at least usually have a chance to get a few pips.

Well done. Right place at the right time. I caught 60 pip moves on EU and EJ. God knows why they moved the way they moved, but good TDI trades on 1HR.

Yeah, hinn, if we get nothing through the euro session, we're still good!!

If a person wanted, he could cut his lot size in half for rest of day and that way be almost assured to at least not be a loser.

I kept missing out on the trades last few days. Finally made the trades count last day of the week.

I work 12 hr night shifts and come back home and trade for a further 4 hours before seeping. It is not a great schedule. So I took some time off this week.I traded the whole week and learnt 3 things.

1) Patience pays - but don't wait forever.
2) TRUST the TDI (especially on higher TFs. Just double check all the majors on 1 hr, 4 hrs and the daily. Put only the TDI and check how the PA behaved VS the TDI)
3) Combine the above 2 : Be patient but enter the trade when the TDI shows up.

*** CCI and QQE also behave similar to TDI. Put them up if you want a bit more confidence ***

*** Do not trade just the 5 mins and 15 Mins TF. Use them for entries, if you so wish, but trust the higher TF TDI.***

*** Last but not least, learn PA ***

Thank you for the kind words, but I have bad habits too, sometimes. I am amateur, not pro.

About brokers . . . they are NOT your Friend, nor should they be your enemy. I owe nothing to IBFX and they owe me nothing. To them I am a source of income, to me they are just an ATM. Strictly Business.

I'll say this for them.

1. I have had 3 disputes with them over lost trades. 2 out of the 3 were settled curtiously in my favor.

2. They give me my withdrawals promptly, and have had no accounting errors.

I have met one of their chief traders, Rob Booker, a couple of times. I think he's a standup guy.

Sorry for the off topic, but thread is fairl slow at the moment.

I was told this is not a bounce trade. if the candle prior to your entry had changed to red and then continued back to green on your entry it is a bounce but apparently your entry is not. I looked at one the same and asked this and I was told no....a bounce trade is when the candle colour reverse and the tdi green heads towards the red, then the next candle changes again in the same trend direction and the green bounces away from the red on the tdi. Its like starting a new trade.
Yours looked like it worked out pretty well though

I have seen a big free space to next resistance (my PT) to going long and my tdi agree (just little worried about 68 level). Ok right it is new TMS trade.

look at original TDI Red Green - bounce trade, TDI smoothed - new trade.

I am more confident with this smooth TDI. See differencies. Just my opinion...(of course i am still studying this, but live with small lots and proper money management).

Did 4 live trades yesterday evening, 14 hours a go for me on the 4h tf.

Take all entry's because of crosses in the TDI, first or second candle, space to run, so for me good entry's.

Short eur/usd, stop loss hit.

Eur gbp short, still runing, around -50 pips now
Gbp jpy short, around -10 now
Aud jpy short around -40 now

I have no pictures because of my work at the moment, but this is not the best start. I've seen other pairs i trade, they did very well but was too late for an entry.

Losses are ofcourse part of the game and i know i need to learn a little more this strat and get more confidence.

No ...the tdi is not the reason. I am talking about the candle colours. Becasue none of the candles had reversed and changed colour. If it was a bounce trade as per the rules...the candle just before your entry candle should have been red, which signifies a new or bounce trade......thats what I am led to believe anyway. The tdi signal looks fine to me for a bounce trade but the candle colours all stayed the same...this is what I have been told when I asked about the same trade setup as yours.

To be honest...and with all due respect...this method was developed and traded and perfected by BigE who uses the original non refreshing tdi. I have more faith in the original tdi he uses which is on the first page of the thread. And anyone who truly wants to learn this method should probably using the same. Its BigE's method, he is teaching us how to trade it and we all should use the same one. Of course its personal opinion, but why stray from the tdi that BigE uses and that formulated and perfected this method.

Ok i understand, but i am not altering from the original method. I am just using faster TDI to see cross one candle earlier. And i try to do my best to fit all other stuff as Big E described (PA, stoch, S/R etc). In matter with this reverse candle you have true i agree (and will make a notice - thank you for reminde notice).
