Many traders are trying to pickup the top without a proper reason. You need to wait till price loses the momentum. Quick scalping picking the bottom and top never work for long time. Just a little advice from a newbie.

I have never made as many pips as I have been since using monthly/weekly/daily highs and lows in combination with pivots & support & resistance lines. It is so true that indicators are lagging and ultimately PA is king. The way I see the market atm is that it missed todays's R2 (4279) by 1 pip (according to my broker - daily high is 4278) so it may come back to that level / take it out and reverse and then go down or it may shoot straight through....with this forex game we never know until it happens but as long as you let the winners runs and cut the losers you will make it......from the PA now it seems to be going back down...but stop losses of 30 or so pips always important///that is how I do it....

We should believe in our strategy. Shouldn't change strategy if a loss occurs. If a series of losses occurs then something wrong with the strategy.

Always good to do a cross-check with other sources regarding intraday pivots as different broker can have slightly different pivot levels, like off a pip or two. R2 was hit to the pip according to my charts.
