There always needs to be a reason to enter a trade...always. Meaning certain events occur in a particular timeframe (setups and triggers), then we enter a trade.

But often events occur on multiple timeframes and we could have entry on any one of those timeframes. That is what is happening more and more. I was just pointing that out.

You are exactly right..for H1 4C BO look to the H4 and H1 RSIs to confirm direction. For daily look to the daily and the weekly.

No reason for confusion. Again...all I am trying to point out is that when looking for a reason to enter a trade, there may often be several reasons to do so....setups and triggers on several different TFs.

Let me know if this is still confusing.

No, just the simple daily candle entry. Enter toward the beginning of the new daily candle...about 5-6 hours into it, and with confirmation from the the daily and weekly RSIs. Place a 30 pip SL. This trade is just that simple.

If the trade survives the day and the next candle has the same setup, add a position...a branch to what will hopefully become a "MoneyTree".

However, there was also a 3 Tap setup both on the H4 and daily charts. Also a H1 BO. The setups are not mutually exclusive.

I beleive I was looking for an M15 candle to clear the resistance line at that time.

You have many branches on your GU MoneyTree. Looks great so far. Now you need to manage the trades.

Please post your pair in the title as it makes it so much easier to know which pair you are referring to.

I posted this a few pages back and didn’t see an answer. I know you are bombarded with questions constantly, so I’m reposting it.

If you add to a current position on your Daily System (2+ days in a Row of Daily System triggers), do you move the initial trade’s Stop Loss level to the new trade’s Stop Loss level, or do you leave it at -30 for the initial trade?

Also, what method do you use for exiting a trade in profit if it hasn’t hit SL but also is not showing a re-entry trigger (D1, W1 RSIs) for the new day? Any way we could use the Daily RSI for this? Maybe if it’s started to reverse and has reached the 3 o’clock angle at a minimum, this would be a sign to exit and take profit?

Your thoughts?

My first day results so far:

I am still long on these 2:

  1. EURCAD +31 pips
  2. NZDUSD +7 pips

Stop Loss Trades

  1. GBPUSD hit 30 pip SL

Thanks Law Girl i am loving the thread,
Can i just check my understanding of some of the methods discussed here?

3T = weekly / Daily & 4h Bias (RSI) the same and enter on 3rd TL touch in that direction.

BO = 4h & 1h (RSI) Mark the top and bottom of the first four candles of the day. Enter in the direction of the 4h & 1h RSI as price breaks out of the channel.

Daily Entry = weekly & Daily (RSI) in agreement then enter within the first couple of hours on the daily candle with the trend using a 30pip SL.

I like the look of the three methods and look forward to trying them.

With the Daily and BO methods you will place a trade for each every morning? Is that correct? Will the Daily and BO method produce very similar trades i.e. If the bias is long on the 1h & 4h we would trade the BO long on the break of the channel and also trade the same pair long using the Daily method if the weekly & daily bias is long as well?

Hope this makes sense, keep up the good work its appreciated.

On a 3T trade like this (congratulations by the way) would you keep adding to the position? How would you add to it, would you wait for another TL touch to add? And would you keep trailing price with your stop?
