thanks for your explanation fontu...my question might be misleading here..
my account is bit too small to trade gold and silver...since volatile
but since eurusd has correlation with gold silver oil and stock market..
just wondering what this fall is telling us...

also i agreed that situation is very complex atm

If this was a penant (smaller semetric triangle) breakout (pink triangle in chart), then we should see 1.4315 before heading down again. This being the same distance as the start of the penant triangle roughly 2300 pips. However we might still be in the larger semetrical triangle with top line starting at 6 May, which means that there could be heavy resistance around 1.4240-1.4250'ish. At the moment however there are still a few resistance levels to go through before getting to the trendlines. 1.4190-1.42 are one of these resistance areas being the 23.6% fib level of the big drop from 5 May and 61.8 fib level of the last drop on 20 May. I think we might see 1.4240-1.4250 being tested later the day which is the upper "possible semetric triangle formation". a Substantial bounce from this level will confirm the triangle and we will head back down to 1.4060'is (lower triangle line). If it does substantially continue through 1.4250, we will see resistance at 1.4315. Fundamentally I don't see why the Euro should be supported beyond this level with the debt risk as high as it is. Here is my charts and please feel free to coment!!

Hi to everybody,

as you should do ... if you have got some manners... i would like to introduce myself to this thread.

I've been checking back on this thread for quite some time. There are a lot of interesting (and not so interesting) people in here I have to say. Let's see if i can contribute a bit to it. My input will primarily based on fibs, pivots, correlations.

I hope i will be of some help for somebody and have a few good conversations... or cocktails... (after London close)

Highest has been 1.4197 aprox. until now ...

Lowest has been 1.4068 aprox. until now ...

So all you fellow traders - who have not been long since these early Tokyo Session when prices came down towards around central pivot line - have to do ... is just wait for a good opportunity and then take a trade to the downside when major move energy has come to an end.

And it will ... as this is still seen as being a "corrective upmove" ...

It has not turned bullish ... not unless we really cross significantly above that mentioned area 1.4245 ...

Ok , most time what we see & do are misleading mostly in such great mofu & hence doing now -a-days very limited though volalities great for scalpers who can take without loss. Not know about dow or other stocks , force selling them should lead to eu bull under pressure also and co-relation may not work for some time though .

Anyway still feel market waiting for something , laden to start , gaddafi to continue if soon or failure sustain even with all forces & manipulation & eu defaults any to resume the trend again . just my idea only , no political issue .

thanks for your input. Well appreciated. Made me look again:

Have a 162% fib extension at around 4240. That could cap the move up for the time beeing. Maybe then bounce down and after that a further attempt to the upside. Not sure right now........

Sorry - das mußte heute mal einfach so gesagt sein ...

Ansonsten bin ich ja eher damit zurückhaltend ...

Hier hängen die Handwerker heute ohne Ende um mich herum. Das nervt unglaublich ... von Keller bis oben ... und immer mit viel Lärm und Tamtam natürlich!
