are we talking mini lots or hole lots here?
50 pips x .8 = 400 in my account so id be wiped out in 3 trades. I think if your losing $40 out of $1000 thats 4% risk not bad. 40% is another story

Whole lots.

Trades today so far. I also have now gone back to the original TDI. I was getting far too many false signals before.

As I was writing my post about the TDI indis this morning I realised this must be the reason we were swapping posts last week

Davlo,

Can you please tell me what the green dots on your chart are.
Ignored
They are parabolic sar, I use them for my 4 hour TF to enter a trade as a strong trade if the parabolic sar shows a short or long on a switch along with the other signals of the TDI and stoch then i make the trade, tends to work well for me on the 4 hr, this 1 hour went south on me for a -10

I'd prefer a numerical value representing the slope and I personaly use 5, i.e. if Green Line moves more than 5 units per candle, I take it as a good slope.

To avoid confusion because of the stretching, I modified "TDI Green Red" indicator to show numerical values of the current and Previous [bar] slope.

Hi Plamen and the all the rest .(this should be a PM but since I am junior member I have to bug you all with questions, sorry)
I am pretty much newbie in forex, been on demo for 3 months and really tried only 2 methods. With TMS I have 50-50 success, yet still have to learn a lot. Just got out from USDCAD trade, though slope value at the cross was above 5 as advised. Was it just the timing (after London close)? I was selling at resistance , (against the trend but did this with succes before)?
Regards

Download the original template bigE gave you at the start of the thread - you can add plamen's TDI if you want it may help you. We need to try to get our charts at least based on the backbone of the original template peeps.

Can you attach the original indicators template of big-E's method (pdf manual etc..anything that has proven profitable consistently on his 4hr chart trade) here again? Many thanks.

EELFRANZ thank you for all your help. Your system is great. I read all the pages several times and now starting to trade.
As you also preferred I am going to trade on 4hr and daily charts.
I am long at EU on the daily chart.

I am wondering why do we need Stochastic when we already have RSI as in the TDI chart? Isn't RSI we should use only since this is a momentum trade we have been talking about since day one?

The original Synergy method (and then Advance Synergy method) by the person who was said to come up with this idea, Dean Malone do not use Stochastics. The Synergy method is really RSI read in conjunction with EMA5, and ranging bollinger of the RSI signal renamed as better sounding name TDI index isn't it?

Hi to all TMS followers!

Newbie in FX, have been following the thread and trading demo for about two weeks. Simple system, was able to make some small pips here and there. My problem is I am from US (EST time zone), and was trading in Big E hours, which is my 9 PM to 9 AM EST. Cannot trade during the day due to full-time job :-( Trading on 4 HR TF, and waking up at 1 AM and 5 AM to peek at the charts kinda wears me down, even though it is for 15-20 min :-)

Thought that people might have the same problem. Any suggestions? :-)

Know that trading FX is not a walk in the park, but with a day job it is almost like a night shift here LOL.

LOL. My brother is a civil engineer, I was a mechanical engineer. I like to remind him that civil engineers build the targets for the weapons that mechanical engineers make...

Sorry - off topic!
