Trades today so far. I also have now gone back to the original TDI. I was getting far too many false signals before.

Yes, Oanda MT4 yesterday and today up 'n down like a yoyo. Lucky for me it's just my "charting" demos, not my live account.

Took this short 20 mins late, testing how critical it is (20 mins late entry out of 60 mins). Second hour just launched... Still developming in my direction.. Comments?

Edit: decided to get out with some 14+ pips because:

*No support from M30 ahd H4 TDI (flat, flat)
*Freshly established support @ ~~ 1.4030 (M15, M5)
*London close ahead
*Dinner time (most important reason according to my missus) :-)

lol Yes you have to keep the missus happy above all! I also see support around the daily S1 pivot. I would have exited too.

could someone please explain the ha candle principle and what is the diff. from a normal candle?

I had similar experience with EJ at same time. Got out with 15 pips myself. Kept expecting JPY and USD to strengthen. They have strengthened a little, but I don't think it's gonna hold. . . . could be wrong. . . let me look . . . yup, we did the right thing. Both these moves going bad now. Would have been a dark ride.

Looks like your signals were okay. This is the problem with trading. Sometimes (maybe even most of the time for some really bad systems) it just doesn't work. Who knows why? Face it. Technical indicators suck, but they are all most of us mortals can comprehend.

What mac means is that you have an awful lot of risk exposure for such a small account. I see you are trading .80. If you have say, a 50 pip stoploss, and you lose, you lose $40. Five straight losses, and you are in trouble because you have to make back all those pips to ever show a profit. This could take you days and weeks.

The object is to adjust your lot size and stops so that a few losses don't damage your account.

Also, learn to take your lumps (losses). If you stay in a losing trade after the signals have disappeared, you might come out okay sometimes, but the losses become horrendous. You are now gambling rather than investing. You always lose in the long run when you gamble the forex.

Hope this doesn't sound preachy. Just give you some food for thought if you are newbie.

I made a 270 pips profit in a week but in my last trade I opened a very big position and lost most of it. I hope you wont make something like this. By the way my account is a 50 dollar account a mini one.

are we talking mini lots or hole lots here?
50 pips x .8 = 400 in my account so id be wiped out in 3 trades. I think if your losing $40 out of $1000 thats 4% risk not bad. 40% is another story

keeping my eye on this one.

30 mins till new bar, momentum seems to have slowed a bit. Stoch have been over bought for a while now and TDI is 80+. also i see 2 previous bounces off resistance at this level approx 1.62850
