If you pick a smaller broker they have a tendency to play it a bit dodgy (not even taking positions), if they are registered then less likely. It takes 2 days for the brokers to set the deals and they look at the overall positions and hedge if necessary in the spot market...

The price depends on how many banks they are connected to so it can be a bit off... If this has an impact on you, I would think you are playing it a bit too tight...

I have never had a problem with Oanda,
I know phanti posted a chart which was 10 pips off us other last week (which is a bit too much)... FXCM it was I think?

I know many traders like to say their broker is stealing but the fact is that if a rookie knew the price for EUR would be 1.6000 in 3 months time he would still loose (at least 10%)... Funny stuff yea

It depends on your broker, ECN brokers pass orders to the markets. The non ECN broker will try and fill orders in house first and the remaining orders then get passed the market.
