Dean the checklist is extremely useful. I have it printed off laminated next to my monitors, and use it to discipline my trades. And I'm very successful using it. Thanks.

I've been in this EU short since last thursday, the 19th.

Initially went my way about about +40 then did a hard reverse and went all the way to -77. (Normally I lock in profit and would have just got stopped out)

Held on because of the overall short trend and the trouble the EU is having. Currently up +283 as I type this.

Sorry scoops, its not my intention to rub anyone the wrong way...I'm just unsure what I have actually done to have to cop that once a week and I got a bit sick of ignoring it. Sorry everyone, I wont mention it again.

Good question. One is needed. With Big E missing, this thread has taken a life of it's own. Too many personal issues and too many overnight experts. And for sure too many add-ons to the trading method. The name of the thread is keep it SIMPLE.

Big question I have is why did the E/J turn down? I thought I had it moving up, then it dropped. Did I miss some news, or did it just renew the overall trend down?

And is there any update on E?

If I was strictly following the simple method yes. But, I've been looking for a short strong short entrance I can just hold on to for a couple of weeks now.

It bounced off of some resistance I saw so I stayed in. If it had hit and past .44460 I would have bailed.

Funnily enough if you look at the daily right now its pretty much a short trade according to the rules and I reckon you are in for a lot more if it can get through the 1.40 even mark....could be a hard task though?? Good luck. well done

I'm not sure what you are seeing there??? my charts show the GU on the 4th red candle and the EU on the 7th red candle.....way too late for any entry consideration?? unless you are preempting a reversal in both these??

Ya, I saw that too. Another reason I'm staying in. I'm in similar trade on GU, but thats only up about +40.

That's the problem with daily candles, when they work out for you right away it's huge, but often even a good set up can take a week or more to play out in your favor. In the mean time your left to watch the occillations of the smaller time frames and wonder if you really should stay in.

Wish me luck. I think this is one of those times, it's time to do nothing and just watch and wait.

yes, it is very correct also that if we strecth the chart window vertically, the TDI Pointing's angle will change and it can mislead the angle of 12-2 and 4-6. very Correct!!!

Sorry for EU I did enter by 1hr chart.
