DislikedAlex, thanks for your ideas.
You could enter your 2.55% split as 2.55%,1,1,1 if you wanted, because all VO does is divide each portion by the sum the portions, i.e.
Order#1 = 1/(1+1+1) x 2.55% = 0.85%
Order#2 = 1/(1+1+1) x 2.55% = 0.85%
Order#3 = 1/(1+1+1) x 2.55% = 0.85%
This would result in exactly the same size orders as your...Ignored
It works perfectly for limit orders to split them accordingly however for market orders it will place 1 order (sometimes 2) then produce an error. I've attached the image. I thought it may have something to do with slippage so I changed it to 99 pips but it did the same thing. In this screenshot I tried "10%,1,1,1". Any ideas?
[Edit]
I may have figured it out... I changed the "Wait Time (seconds)" from 0 to 0.5 and it is working consistently now. Maybe it was trying to send too many orders at the same time?
Either way I am very happy to get these fractional splits working... it really saves so much time that I don't need Excel anymore. Thank you so much for this tool David.
