I was thinking of doing that instead of having my fxtrade platform and multiple mt4 demos open simultaneously, but heard there mt4 isn't yet reliable - at least that's what I'm reading on their fourms (http://fxtrade.oanda.com/community/f...ultimatebb.cgi).

It seems like I'm going to have to change brokers for my active trading. I'll probably just keep them for my long term trades.

at least its running now.. i like the fxtrade platform. but it has its flaws hehe.. so at least you have a backup..

The problem was severe enough to disconnected for 30 minutes, but no more - same time it took for a decent retrace.

donno.. u got 64 66 68 84 ...4106.... to deal with.. look for a candle at/above 4040.5.. since we have a bunch of b/o.. i may short around 4053 area.. but keep in mind the wave we just completed was 940 pips.. with each action there is a reaction. so it may go north a few minor waves. enough for sediment here to change. #1 is 4082.9.. enough to lose your account in the bs.. the next wave completes at the chart posted in blue 3950xx.. watch those levels on that chart. ..

Took some small shorts, just in case. Can't say I was overly impressed with the last candle, nor am I impressed with the configuration of this one thus far. Would rather sell agressively on a bounce towards 4060/4075, and/or a break of the lows...not to mention that GBP and AUD are sitting on support also...

Yeah , oanda fxtrade running again .. wtf .. .. up exactly after all news releases are over , i don't trade the news .. but still .. zzzz .. disappointed .. and yet my oanda mt4 demo acct had no issues .. hmmmmm .. at least if they all stopped working its more believable ..

traditionally, Monday's are known for very low liquidity, but today was an exception!

No high probability trade was spotted by my strategy because ituses very tight SL : 10 pips but i added 10 more extra to finalize at 20pips and because price already started moving even before the news were released! sad though I couldn't execute a trade but tomorrow is a new day.

Same here, my Oanda fxtrade live was dwn for bout a good 10mins during the news release.

But Oanda MT4 live feed was ok but there was no deposits in it yet.
