To be honest, I got no doubt about those levels: Greece will go default sooner than later. If USA congressman will find a solution to the debt increase for nrex couple of years then watch the 1.2 level.

i may have used the term incorrectly or not how some see and calculate this area. to me it's also a zone to keep an eye on and let the market show me. i just don't trade until it breaks out. i am a short term trader so to be stuck in a trade for over an hour to get 12 pips just isn't fun. in fact, it drives me crazy

Tja ... it needs some time to develop an own system that works for you ...

But at least ... that is best thing what you can do ... try to find a method that fits to your kind of trading style ...

And then you will see ... that is the best thing - because you fully understand what's behind ...

Only then you are able to estimate what your system can tell you ... and what not ...

It needs some time ... no abreviation there ...

I sat for 7 hours in a short position on EUR to make +49 pips.
It is painful moving to 60M charts if PA is slow, tomorrow will feel like speedtrading moving back to 5M dustbins

May I know what these dustbin trades you are referring to? Scalping data releases?

that is why i commend anyone who trades longer time frames. what patience it takes! they get a lot of pips and i leave some behind but it sure does suite me a lot better taking 12 pips at a time.

"Dustbin trades" is what the head of trading at a big concern calls trades less than 20 pips. TP target of 12 pips I guess qualifies as a "dustbin trade"
