I suggest you also read this thread from beginning to end. And follow Big E's rule. Don't over complicate it. Keep it simple!

If the set up is there take it! I only enter if Stochastics are coming out of over bought/over sold area. Work out you money management and how much you are willing to risk per trade- set your stop loss accordingly, that will give you confidence. Good luck!

I love the EJ. We're getting ready to move out of state. When I have to re-register my car I'm thinking of getting vanity license plates that say EUR JPY.

It bounces some within the candles, but that smooths out pretty well on 30 minute candles. And it pays a bit better. For example, 20 pips with 5 minis got $122.60 instead of $100.
My favorite crochet hook is size J. It's a J-Hook!

I am doing exactly that, following pg 1 rules. I am having trouble getting the HA to look smooth on Win7 charts. I can load them and get them pasted on a chart but the traditonal candles show up too even if I select their color as black or even none. Any suggestions would be appreciated as I really don't want to use XP if I can help it. I use MBT's mt4 platform. Thanks all, a good strategy.

Hi. I can't really help you with your set up on win7 sorry as I'm using Win XP on my trade station. However why dont you try the attached APB indicator I used to use when I traded THV method, I'm using it on my charts fine not sure about win 7 though.

I think I stumbled onto the solution. I opened a new chart and colored the bars to "none" in the Properties section. d.

Hi Piprac,
Select properties and change the color of the candles up/down and the bars up/down as well as the line graph to the same as the background color which you chose.
I also use win 7. No problems here.

Hi mackaozy, if you enjoy reading, the following book is a good read. 'Trading In The Zone by Mark Douglas' Something to do over the weekend. You'll find it here on FF. Just do a search at the top of the page. And if anybody else enjoys reading, then Sam Seiden's articles on FXSTREET I have found to be of great value. It deals primarilly with supply and demand which does help with entry and exit of trades.

if im up 10 pips thats 500 bucks....I cannot let that run back past zero.....ill take 100-200$ before it goes negative.......same...
There's alot of good advise Mr.SnapCracklePip, and agree, never underestimate to the possability of the Black Swan from the market or your liquidator.And one in the hand is always better then two in the bush.

Hi mackaozy, I have scoured the FF for more than a year looking for a simple method to trade. Came across many which looked like the real deal, but alas, did not fit my style. Most had just too many indicators and more rules. I am, as many on this thread, greatful to eelfranz for starting and sharing his knowledge with us. I have traded on demo for the past week and a half and what a pleasure it has been. I will be going live soon. Will post charts as soon as I can figure out how.
