yep! The M5 action was not convincing enough to try another long. The M15 35/50 though may line-up. Waiting now....

Won some and lost some... currently up 21 pips after a quick short for 15 off the retrace to the M15 35 and H1 10 on the GU.

My current assessment of market sentiment is ...

Did you catch that bounce off the H1 50? If so, can you tell me what you saw to convince you?

To me it was all looking like continuing South.....

Or did Clay's spies get the news release wrong!

within 15-20 pips were the M15 35/50 though they were diverging
the H1 10 and 50
and just below the H4 10 with the RN..
if these werent enough i dont know what is
- didnt catch it by the way, just turned my pc on now.

I took the same trade, but only for +50 so unfortunately I missed out on the kinky reminder... Shame

i wasnt using the 200 till now on M5 i definitely will from now on.
looks like quite a few steps and falls were taken off it lately.

I saw the levels, but no way could I see the PA to support it.... price had ping-ponged between the M15 50 (top) and H1 50 (bottom) and had just broken to the south when the news hit...

To me I couldn't see any sign of reversal (spike, doji, etc).

PA is my biggest problem with this method.

Throughout the thread it, bounce trades have been said to require confirmation in PA, usually M5. That is what I am asking about.

There are plenty of confluences, and a lot of them losers (if your max stop is less than 20 pips).

i agree with you, this one definitely didnt leave much time for reaction in M5.
but it was news time i think?
given the day and time, it would require big balls to go against the H4 trend and i dont say i got them.
Kostas on the other hand nails them just fine. i guess there is no substitute for experience.

If you are ready to watch over my shoulder get a cardio exam first..... My approach to use the M1 when there are news and bail out at the first sign of trouble saved my ass again.....
