I took that trade this morning before I went to work. However I exited due to the AUD news out at 1030am today (I'm in UK) as I won't be back to my computer at home for another 10 hours. So I exited with +14 pips

Big thanks to eelfranz for this thread. I too had been messing around with lower time frames and making losses. I was following a THV system and scalping on the 5min & 1min- great method but too stressful.

I have already made more pips end of last week and yesterday with this method! Keep it simple on a higher timeframe is the key...suddenly everything seems to be coming together for me.

What the !!!???anyone had this happen before??? my charts just went mental.....only on the hourly. IS this a broker problem?

Good news! It looks like a perfect trade on the 30 minute. I'm watching it hover just above that resistance, may enter on next 1H candle if TDI stays true.

You should of gone short Dean! This system should have picked that move. Actually - same thing happened to me - must be the Broker.

Thanks guys, feel bettter now....much better actually, the robot I had made for this system picked the tdi crossover and entered me for ten full lots. I am currenlty up 2 million pips and off to buy a yacht, a couple of houses, a new car and maybe an island

. I also made one that enters the trade when the TDI cross occurs, but it cant check the angle. How have you addressed this? or do you ignore it?

You don't say whether you lost or gained. So, I asume that it was not too bad. If it was a loss, you should take it up with your broker. Just mention that you intend to change brokers and they will certainly comply.

No harm in trying!

it was a win and the chart going crazy didn't affect the trade, i had a trailing stop which was eventually taken out, ended up making just on 40 pips so i was happy

Well after much trial and error Im finally back on board with MT4. The TDI seems to be behaving this time. Thanks to all those who helped me in the right direction.

Now onto some more Demoing (sp)....Ill post some charts all comments welcome.
